Female Agent 1.4 general release

Female Agent 1.4 is out!  It's available on the Discord.

This version adds the Lifepath, an absurdly detailed interactive character generator that's been described as "a game within the game" by dev testers. Play through your agent's unique backstory from childhood, through university, to their agency career before being selected for the mission.

It also adds S.U.R.P.S., the RPG ruleset that will provide randomness, replayability and character improvement for all future versions. Stats, skills, experience points and dice-based task resolution all added.

Enjoy, and let us know what you like and how we can make it better, here or on Discord!

For some reason the skill section is buggy I think, I can see physical skills at the top followed with language skills but between those is lots of empty space and on top of that despite picking up more skill I can't scroll down the skill list and thus I've no idea what my agent has learned and not learned. By the time my agent was done with the current content she should have about 5 languange skill options but I can only see her English skill, it is a bit irritating really. Other than that this build looks really good.

What is it with models picking guns up by the trigger?

Maybe she's about to shoot a bad-guy foot fetishist who is sucking on her toes?

i have a QOL suggestion for the character creation screen (and other places throughout the game): - the randomise and custom buttons appearing at the end of the line for first name and surname, as well as age and vital statistics; could they be put at the beginning of the line instead so they don't adjust their position to the new length of the line each time they are clicked? it makes repetitive clicking on them feel better. eg. First name: Sarah 🔀 ⌨ First name: Annalise 🔀 ⌨ changed to... First name: 🔀 ⌨ Sarah First name: 🔀 ⌨ Annalise it would keep their position in the same spot after clicking them. also i have a question regarding the character customisation choices: - i see you can choose various heights. will the avatar be updated to reflect those heights? eg. shorter or taller bodies? additionally, will there be any mentions of those heights within the gameplay text, any mechanical bonuses or restrictions, or are they purely for aesthetic? lastly, and i understand if this is a bit extreme for the game: i noticed that there are certain scenes where unprotected sex and insemination occurs, but there is no mention of pregnancy or any anxiety about it; what are the dev's thoughts on pregnancy content within the game?

Great idea on the icon arrangement, I'll make it so. Thanks! I'm not *planning* to tweak the height of the avatar since she isn't shown in context with anything else, so I feel like her height can be whatever the player pictures it is? That said, the art *is* vector so some kind of scaling *is* possible. I definitely do want to include more references to the player's height in the narrative, though. In terms of mechanical bonuses, Build affects Strength, Daring and Confidence, and skill checks like Intimidation and Covert Surveillance. I also plan for Build to affect attraction rolls. Pregnancy risk is a popular request. There is a (minor) scene during the briefing, in which birth control is discussed – I should probably make this more prominent since you missed it. Right now the assumption is that the agent is on effective birth control but this is a popular request so will almost certainly get an upgrade later.

great work. I got a few error messages but nothing every really broke. I feel like the game is at a level of polish and content where you can totally consider advancing to the next stage.
