I Need Your Feedback! 💬
Hello everyone! Apologies for my absence over the past few months. Thank you for your patience and understanding during that time 💗
Now that I'm back and feeling well again, I wanted to ask for your feedback on a couple of Patreon page topics:
Patron Billing: Since launching my page, whenever someone becomes a patron, they are charged up-front, and then on the 1st of each month going forward.
Patreon has recently launched an alternative billing method: Subscription Billing. With this method, new Patrons are charged up-front and then on the same date the following month. The catch: If I change to this billing method, I’ll be unable to switch back. Also, if you are currently a patron, you will remain on my current billing method (charged up-front, then on the 1st of each month) unless you cancel and re-sub.
Question: Which billing method would you prefer? Let me know in the comments!
Tier Structure: I currently have a $1 tier and a $3 tier. Each tier offers the same benefits to all patrons, regardless of which tier they have selected.
I’ve been considering consolidating my tiers into a single tier, seeing as each tier receives the same benefits. The sole reason I made multiple tiers available was to allow people to be able to choose the amount they’d like to donate. But as far as in aware, custom tiers are also and option depending on how much you'd like to give.
Question: Should I consolidate my tiers? If so, what should the single tier cost? Let me know in the comments!
This change is a lot more involved on my patrons' part, so I want to be sure this is something you'd all be interested in and wouldn't mind editing on your end. I'm also totally fine with keeping things the way they are, I just want to avoid any confusion or making people feel like they're obligated to choose, all while receiving the same benefits.

Aside from these two topics, I plan on resuming my current WIP projects, posting polls, and sharing new CC as soon as I'm able.
As of right now, my billing cycle will resume on the 1st of March, but depending on your feedback and the current state of my laptop (it's having booting issues now! It can't get past the startup screen no matter what I do. My bad luck never ends lol) I may hold off for another month. I'll keep you posted!
Until next time 💗

Do you accept your patrons' ideas? ..about things from The Sims™ 4 Moonlight Chic Kit. There is a blazer and shorts for women. I adore the houndstooth print. But I don't like the long blazer paired with a crop top. Could you please keep the houndstooth print but remake this blazer into a different shape? I rely on your taste. Your works are amazing: high quality, detailed, stylish! Thank you.
Hey! Apologies for the late reply. I try to take in patron requests when I have time, so I'll definitely look into it! I'm not sure when I can complete this project, but I'll add it to my list hehe 💗 And thank you for being so kind. I'm glad you enjoy my CC!
I support keeping it the same! One of the creators I support on here changed to this method, and it's a little jarring to have most of the money come out one day, but the rest comes out on the 8th. I'd personally rather it all come out at once!
Hey! As everyone shares their experiences, it's seeming like a good idea to just keep things as I have them now. I was probably worrying too much haha
I agree with a minimum of $3.00. You know what would be AMAZING is offering a yearly subscription! 🙏🏿🙏🙏🏻
I like to keep billing on the 1st, so I vote for keeping it that way. As for the tiers, I see many people who have multiple tiers at different costs with the same benefits. The only thing different is an additional thank you. That's it. Options are always better, and some people may want to give more than $1 or $3. So my vote is to have $1, $3, and $5. You never know when someone may want to give more.
Hey you! 💗 Thanks for adding to the conversation, it helps a ton. So far it appears as though keeping things the way they are might be the best course of action. Adding an additional $5 tier may be a good idea for the folks who may be interested. I'll just need to make it clear that all tiers are the same. I was probably getting too far into my own head about this 😅 but it's always good to at least test the waters and see what others think!
Personally, I like being charged once a month for everyone I support, it makes it easier for me to keep track of authorized charges to my card. As for the monthly amount, having the $1 and $3 tiers is great for people like me who have a fixed amount budgeted for Patreon every month. Basically, a $1 charge means that 2 other creators who also have $1 tiers get monthly support. At $3, I have to pick 1 of the 3 people I'd like to support
Do you prefer the charge to be on the 1st then? Thanks so much for all of the helpful info! It helps put things into perspective.
If both tiers have the same benefits, consolidating the tiers is a good way to go. As for the amount, go with $3.00.
Hey, thanks for chiming in! $3 isn't too much? I worry about the cost because I feel as though I don't have much to offer.
