Indefinite Hiatus

Hello! It's been nearly a month since sharing this post, so I wanted to check in to remind everyone to cancel their membership to my Patreon page if you haven't already.
Rather than pausing the billing cycle or unpublishing my page, I thought it best to keep the page live, but static. If I were to pause billing, I would then have to log into my page each month and pause it manually, which I would prefer not to do.
So, again, this is your reminder to cancel your membership so you do not get charged in the future. While I appreciate those of you who would like to continue to support my page, I think it better to support creators who are active.

Hello everyone 👋
As the title suggests, I'm taking my official leave from creating CC for The Sims 4.
I initially started creating CC back in 2015. During that moment in time, I was processing the loss of a loved one, enduring a toxic partner, and was at an all-time low both physically and mentally. During all of the heartache and struggles, I used the Sims as an escape from my reality and found purpose and joy in CC creation. Not only that, but I found community, explored new facets of artistry, and loved sharing my creations with all of you.
As the years have passed by, I've gained more responsibilities in my nonprofit work, spend more time with family and friends, built a business, found my forever home, and gotten back in touch with beloved hobbies ✨
Now, more than ever, I find myself drifting further and further away from this game. I haven't played The Sims 4 for an extended period (since the release of the Seasons EP), and I have ultimately reached the point where sitting at my computer and creating CC is no longer an outlet I seek, but more of a task or chore I avoid. So, I've decided to pull away as a means of taking care of myself and realigning with other priorities in my life.
I apologize for any upset this may cause, but like all good things, they must come to an end.
I will be keeping all of my social media accounts associated with Nolan-Sims up and plan on popping in from time-to-time, as I love seeing what other people create and the stories they share.
Most importantly: Patreon is where I publicly host all of my CC, so it will remain published. I also maintain a CC archive folder on Google Drive that can be accessed here: CC Bulk Download. The last thing I would want to do is to take my creations with me!
I also recommend that those of you who are my patrons to cancel your subscriptions ASAP so you are no longer charged, but I will leave the decision of continued support up to each of you. If anyone would like to seek a refund for the previous month, please reach out and I'll try to get it sorted for you!
If you made it this far, I want to thank everyone who has supported me all these years. It's been both an honor and a privilege to be a part of and share my art with this community, and I don't take it for granted. You've all helped me through some low moments, and I hope I've been able to bring you some joy of your own 💗

When an outlet that was once a source of fun and creative power starts to draw you down and make you feel negative about it, then it's time to move on. I joined when discovering the Animal Crossing inspired CC, so not too long ago, but I wish you well on your futur projects, I'm glad you managed to stop now that creating CC isn't a passion anymore. <3 I'll come from time to time to refresh my CC's since I don't like downloading in bulks ;)
Thank you for sharing your talent and skill. I am sorry you came up against some of the struggles you did. I am glad that SIMS and the community was a healthy escape for you. It sounds like you have gotten to a place where you were able to leave some of the negativity and toxic people that were holding on to you. I am happy that you have found new passions and new priorities that bring you belonging and joy. I am sure plenty of stress too but good stress mostly (hopefully.)
