(NOTE) Thank you for letting me rest and refocus last week!

Hey folks!

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for letting me take a break from the webtoon last week.

Seeing that 97% of you voted to let me take a break from the last webtoon production meant the world to me. It was really moving to see how much you all care about my health and well-being. 🤍

Since I opened my Patreon back in November 2024, I’ve been working on the webtoon pretty much nonstop. This is only the third time I’ve had to stop, and I guess this time it really caught up to me. 🤒

Finding My Balance ⚖️

I’ve spent the last few days reflecting on why I was sick. The answer seems simple: I wasn’t sleeping enough, and I was spending far too many hours at my desk.

Before this journey, I worked as a WordPress developer. Back then, life felt balanced. I took vacations and enjoyed hobbies without even thinking about "burnout." But after transitioning into this world—diving into game development, contests, webtoons, and social media—the things I love started to feel like a busy project I just had to keep up with. I pushed myself just a little too far. 🏃‍♂️💨

Focus on the Foundation 🛠️

Because I stepped back from webtoon production last week, I finally caught up on sleep. I actually slowed down. 💤

It also helped me regain some perspective. I realized I need to work smarter... So, I finally took the time to write a program I’ve been wanting to do for a long time: a prompt scheduler system.

This wasn't just a side task; it was a necessary evolution. It made me realize that if I want this project to last, I can’t just keep pushing harder. I have to build a sustainable engine that allows me to keep creating for you in the long run. 📈

Why Stories Matter to Me ✨

I want to be honest about my vision for this Patreon. There is so much content out there that focuses on "hot and spicy" pics, but I’ve always believed that art needs a story to truly resonate.

Everything I’m building is really about bringing these characters to life.

I hold the weekly contests because I want to see your favorite characters breathe and have their own stories. I created Gaizellic Adventure mobile game because I want you to actually meet hot anime guys, and talk to them. And of course, the webtoons are there to give you hot stories! 📖🎮

I actually have so many other ideas too! I want to build a world that you can truly get lost in, where the characters feel real to you.

I’ll do my best to make this a space that is fun, immersive, and genuinely worth your support! Thank you for giving me the grace and the time to refocus!✨

I think you took this opportunity in stride and learned from it. Kudos to you on seeing a better path forward for your work and your health. This is the kind of introspection everyone should do and it takes courage to realize that.

I'm glad you took the time to rest and reflect. To be honest it was hard to read you asking for something that should be considered simply your human right. I hope that going forward you'll find the right balance between work and life. I love the creative vision you have. Mankind as a whole is definitely still learning how to make the best use of AI-powered tools, but I believe your way may be the one that would lead us all in a better direction- using the tools bring our vision to life. The works you produce are more than just a bunch of "hot and spicy" pics- there's an idea behind them, they feel more alive.

Glad you feel better. Never rush your art. Create what matters to you.
