WIP#104

Hey everyone!

I'm here with the next work in progress check-in. I only can show you a half-finished playhouse because this takes soo long to finish I'm still working on it!

As you can see the texture is just a base texture, it has some parts missing but I wanted to put it into the game to see how it'll look and behave. So I had to tweak one of the snap points to be closer to the arch they go in because the child was clipping through the wall because the animation includes the "going in" part too. For that reason one kid won't be exactly next to the window and won't touch the window sill (like the blonde girl does on the photo, and I'm still tweaking the window height so their hands won't clip).

I'm also spending a lot of time working on the footprint so you'll be able to place items inside without using moveobjects. It's still not behaving exactly the way I'd like, but we're getting there. Hopefully I'll be able to make it as user-friendly as possible.

The reason the playhouse is so empty right now is because I'm making most of the furniture as separate pieces, like I mentioned in my previous post. And don't worry, the poor kids won't have to sleep on the wooden floor, they'll have comfy rugs to sleep on! They look so miserable now. :D

This is such a big project that sometimes it's hard to stay focused on finishing it, but deep down I know it'll all come together in the end with all the extra pieces I'm planning to make. It's just a lot of back and forth, and testing and updating something then going back to the game. Hopefully in my next post you'll see this playhouse finished!
