WIP#100
Hey everyone!
I got so sucked into working on this set that I didn't even realize my last update was a week ago! As you can see, I finally started putting the finished items into the game, so these are the first in-game screenshots.
The biggest thing I finished today is the modular sofa. I used the trusty old Dream Home Decorator modular sofa system (made base game compatible), and it comes with eight different meshes. I also added the special slot (except to the big curved pieces because it wasn't working properly) that lets all the pieces snap together, so when you want to move the sofa, you only have to grab one piece instead of each individually. I really like how it turned out! I think it fits our theme beatifully with the stripes and bright blue color. Of course I'm gonna add some other colors and swatches without stripes!
The other bigger project I'm working on might not seem like a big thing, but it's really time-consuming: making all the drink bottles. My goal is to create different groups of drinks, with each group representing a different type of well-known, more luxurious alcoholic beverage. There are so many unique labels, and little details to make! Sometimes it's the smallest items that end up taking the longest! I got the popular tequilas finished, you can see them in the picture!
Last smaller things, I added a lit up setting to the big shelves, they are light up only at night and as of right now the light works only outside.
Also finished the column too, though I still have to make all the variations for them (corner, half etc.) The columns also have a lot of meshes included.
I hope you like the progress and are just as excited as I am! It’s been really refreshing to work on something completely different from what I’m used to, and I can’t wait to share the set!

Unrelated to the post I'm commenting on, but I just wanted to say thank you for your free martketplace drop. That desk is gorgeous and the PC is genuinely what I've been looking for - one that has so many gorgeous colour swatches that I can use it in every build, which I know I will! Have always loved your CC since the early days of your uploads. Thank your for sharing your stunning creations ❤️
Thank you so much! I'm happy you liked them! I really wanted to make a new PC that looks cuter than what the game has. So that was my first choice and then I had to pair it with something that looks good with it. It's simple but I think a simple marble desk can be used in modern homes.
Hi Valia, I’m from Greece and this is such an amazing concept! 🤩 I am so excited for this! When should we expect the collection to be dropped?? To really make it scream Greece 🇬🇷, I would absolutely love to see some authentic food clutter included, like a pita gyros platter, a big fresh Greek salad bowl, and some delicious spanakopita! For build/buy items, adding different shapes of iconic Aegean blue windows alongside whitewashed cubic-shaped structural arches (Kamáres) would add so much architectural depth. I really hope the final collection features that gorgeous decorative shelving unit carved directly into the plaster wall for slotting small clay pots or candles, alongside those organic acacia/olive wood tables with live edges and sturdy legs. A low-profile woven rattan headboard with messy, un-tucked neutral bedding and those sleek slatted wood accent chairs with beige canvas sling seating would be a dream. Decoration is everything in Greek architecture, so the oversized terracotta amphoras (in raw clay, royal blue, and white-dipped variations), floor stoneware vases with olive branches or pampas grass, and circular jute rugs would tie it all together beautifully. The texture details are important too, think of: gorgeous base of chalk white and warm cream paired with accents of deep royal blue, soft terracotta/peach, and muted melon green. Keeping my fingers crossed for this drop! 🇬🇷❤️
Wow, thank you for all your ideas! This collection will come out sometime early July! Sadly, this collab will only focus on a Greece inspired party place/outdoor nightclub/party terrace kind of thing but I am really inspired by Greek architecture to be honest, so sometime I want to do residential items too. And I really appreciate your ideas, I already in the process of making some vases for that plaster shelf but I love the idea of the jute rug and the wood accent tables! They would bring that natural element into this set perfectly!

Snapping together the modular sofa is a great idea! It will be so much easier to try different layouts without having to move each individual piece. I really love the level of detail on the bottles too. 🫶
Now, that I have discovered the power of DHD snap point, there's no one stopping me to put them on every modular object. :D
