WIP #70
Hey everyone!
I'm here to show you the progess on the new set! I made a plant stand, a mirror, a rattan stool and a rattan plate with keys.
I had a rough time with the mirror because I had an idea in mind, but I couldn’t quite picture exactly what I wanted. I really wanted to avoid using rattan again, since I don’t want to overuse that material. I knew I wanted carved wood, but nothing that looked too fancy. In the end, I went with flowers to tie in with the gardening theme.
I started to do the clutter items with this key holder plate because I'd really like to clutter up every room I'm making. I feel like it would suit this style so much. I want to make at least 3-4 more for this set and also some plants as well to go on the plant stand.
I hope I’ll have time to finish the doors, I already modeled them, but I haven’t touched them since. Also, I wanted to mention that I’m trying to be more active on Instagram by posting these WIPs in my stories whenever I finish an item. I usually don’t write long captions there, just post the image, but if you’re curious and want to see them earlier, you can check them out there.

I cannot believe how good these look. If I could somehow apply these to the real world I'd be ecstatic. Loving this set, loving the vibes and loving all your ideas for items. These are somehow so maxis-match, and yet infinitely better and unique.
Thank you! You don't know how much you comment means to me! My main goal always is to give personality to everything I make. I always see a character I'm making these sets. I choose items I would like to see in my house if I had the opportunity. I think I enjoy this so much because I love interior design in real life too. I get excited about home decor or new furniture. Thank you! It was not an easy object because I had an idea, opened up Blender and then do nothing for hours. Going back and forth between my inspiration photos. Because I don't want to start doing something complicated and time consuming and scrap it if I don't like the result. So I just did nothing instead. :D Then I found a carved wood bedframe and that gave the idea to do the flowers.
Your models and texturing I'm totally jealous of . Real nice sense of design. And the way you set them up and "photo" them is class.
Thank you so much! I love doing photoshoots in game. :D Also thank you for the nice compliment, I'm always learning to be better but I'm finally at a point where I can say I'm mostly satisfied with my texturing. It was a long battle because I struggled for long to find what works for me the best.
