Sunwoven - Garden
Hey everyone!
With great excitement, I'm here to show you the next part of the Sunwoven set! This one is all about gardening infused with a Mediterranean vibe.
I originally planned to make more plants, but then I had the idea to create a Vespa-like scooter that could function as a plant stand (since, sadly, it can’t work as a vehicle). It was definitely a bold move on my part, modeling it took quite a bit of time, and I wasn’t even sure it would turn out well. But I desperately wanted it in my game (and hopefully in yours too!), so I sacrificed a few plant-making hours for the great Vespa. And let me tell you, I have zero regrets. I love how it turned out, especially with the little plants sitting on it. I renamed it to Valia in simlish. :D And I will do more plants for every room I'm making so no worries.
I wanted to include something functional as well. Although I made two types of pots, the only other gardening-related object I found with gameplay function was the flower arranging table. I thought it would fit nicely with this set, so I created a tabletop version of it! You can place it on other tables too, making it more versatile. There’s just one small bug I noticed: when a Sim finishes the bouquet and places it in the middle of the setup, if you move it, you won’t be able to snap it back to that spot, unless you place the entire setup on the ground. This only becomes an issue if you want to add the sparkle effect (or whatever it’s called) afterward, since that interaction needs the table surface. But overall, it works perfectly for arranging flowers, so I hope you’ll still enjoy using it! This one item from the set requires the Seasons pack!
Other than uploading here the tray files, I uploaded (and will from now on my other past and future sets) it on my gallery as well, which is thevaliasims, you can find the rooms there as well.
For the next set I'm not sure which room comes next because finally we're gonna move inside the house! So I maybe upload a poll in the next couple of days for you to choose from!

Hey my sim tried to use the flower arrangement table, but it won’t route. It’s on top of the potting table from your pack too

I'm in love with the Sunwoven collection, but as an Italian, you chose to use our beloved Vespa as a planter, sic, it killed me. You could repair the offense to the nation, LoL, by injecting it with the EA bike tuning and making it a functioning vehicle like Necrodog did years ago. We'd appreciate it very much. You've recreated our beloved national icon in a truly beautiful CC. We can't use it as a planter, too tragic.
Thank you, and I agree with you fully. I really wanted to make a working scooter a reality but I have absolutely zero knowledge about custom animations. The bike tuning has pedaling in the animation so I would have to change that somehow and figure out how to change the sound so it wouldn't sound as a bicycle. Then I'd need to learn to add my animation (if I'd be able to learn to do it in the first place) to a - I assume to avoid overrides - custom tuning for it to work. As much as I'd love to do all this, I simply don't have enough free time to start and learn so many new skills all at once and finish the set and I also have a job as well. I don't want to use other creator's mods or tunings as a base without asking them and I'm not sure if Necrodog or someone who successfully made a working motorcycle mod is updating their files regularly or not. I wouldn't want this to depend on someone else and if something's not working I wouldn't be able to correct it. I really wanted to add the Vespa because I truly love them, every time I see one, I feel the Italian summer. You don't have to use them as planters, I just wanted to add some slots to it. I'm sorry if it feels offensive, it was not my intention.

Muchas gracias! Sí, estoy de acuerdo. Esos objetos estaban en el plan, pero no tuve suficiente tiempo para hacerlos. Sin embargo, en el futuro quiero hacerlos porque no hay mucha variedad en Los Sims de ellos.

Stunning stunning stunning. I love the whole vibe of this series, the color palettes, the nostalgia it emanates, the sense of rest and peace... Any idea how many parts this series will encompass? (I will get them all regardless of how many, but I'm curious as to your creative process. Do you know more or less beforehand, does the inspiration come as you create during a set?)
Thank you so much! It feels so good to read your nice words. I always have this goal in my mind, to achieve something that can evoke feelings and a story. To be honest, I don't really know how many parts will be but this collection is nowhere near done! I want to do a living room, dining room, bathroom, kids room, bedroom. I can't promise I'm going to make all of them but right now I really want to. I usually have a feeling, a vibe I want to grab and showcase and I have a ton of images saved on my pinterest which somehow has that vibe. There are often specific things I know I want to include so I start with that and usually during the month the inspiration comes and I change things up. The Vespa's idea came only halfway through and I started this set with the idea that I want to make cacti. :D And I made none. But the vibe stayed the same that I wanted, so I don't mind it. The advantage of creating more parts is that I can do items I really don't want to leave out later in another part. Sorry for the long response, I got excited someone asked me this. :D

Thank you so much! Tartosa is my favorite world! I wish it had more lots. I'm European, yes. I'm Hungarian but living in Spain for years. I love the mediterranean style and the weather and the people here. I really love interior design, that was I've been enjoying the most in the Sims. Thank you so much for the compliment!
