In this video the camera whisks you through our model of the IJN Akagi aircraft carrier that is under development. It’s a large ship that went toe to toe with the American fleet at the Battle of Midway in June 1942. She was lost during the Battle of Midway after being hit by American dive-bombers and set ablaze. She was eventually scuttled by other Japanese ships who torpedoed her on the order of Admiral Yamamoto.

Great job! This will serve well. However, contrary to other posters, I do NOT wish for time wasted on making the ship walk-around. This isn't an open world video game, not a ship simulation. It's a flight simulator. Spend time on new a/c and such terrain and ships necessary for a FLIGHT SIMULATOR. That's complicated enough.

Truly stunning. I loved the drone type movement in and around the ship. I agree with the others. I do hope we'll be able to explore it in its entirety. If it and the Enterprise are animated with crew and activity, Combat Pilot will be at an incredible level of immersion I've yet to experience in a flight sim.

Finally, realistic flag waiving! I've been flying flight sims for 30 years and no one has ever done a flag better. Just goes to show the quality of work being done here. Beautiful, looks like a museum ship.
Well there's absolutely no point in building three hangar decks if we can't access them during the game. Really looking forward to see how this pans out. This will be interesting for sure. Lovely work so far.
The level of details is amazing...I'm hoping there's are chance to "free walk" like that around the ships also with the release version, and experience what you have done!
