Deedlit (Record of Lodoss War)
I've been meaning to watching Record of Lodoss War for a long time now, and there wasn't much in the new anime season that caught my eye, so I finally decided to give it a shot -- I'm about halfway through the OVAs and I'm really enjoying it. The plot is barebones but I love the character designs and animation. Can't beat that old 90s anime aesthetic.
(also, Deedlit is cute)

I’ve been meaning to watch it. But if you like Castlevania there’s a Record of Lodoss War game on current platforms. Highly recommend :)
I saw it on Steam, might have to give it a shot sometime!
Oh, wait until you see Pirotess and Karla then, two hotties :3 According to my wife, the OVA is a lot better than the TV Series.
Deedlit is such a babe. Shame Parn is perhaps the dumbest protagonist in anime.
The best grandfantasy anime, manga of all time, if you can try the new game, the grey witch saga it's my favorite manga.
I've never heard of it before, would you consider it worth watching?
If you vibe with the old 90s anime style and you like very basic swords-and-sorcery fantasy, I'd say it's worth a shot.
