shanoa (Castlevania)

I was working on a different piece for most of the week (horny art of Velina from ZZZ) but today I realized that it just wasn't clicking for me and shelved it. Then I spent the morning letting my brain go where it wanted and ended up with a Shanoa...man, I love Shanoa's design.

This was a fun one to draw! Did everything with one brush, my usual crunchy lineart brush. I need to not think so hard. I need to just let the art flow. I'll do my best!

Also, I'm excited to dig into Belmont's Curse -- first new Castlevania game since I was in college, which is crazy (no, the Lords of Shadow stuff doesn't count). Maybe I'll draw Rose, too, I like her design as well.

A stylized illustration of Shanoa from Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. She's seen from the hips up, turning away from the viewer as she absorbs power into the glowing red glyph on her exposed back. She has her hands on the back of her head as her long black hair snakes around her body.
