Mid-summer madness!

Hey everyone! It's dev-log-poll-results-rambling-missive-with-numbers time! We hope you are enjoying the summer, when you aren't being fried/broiled/roasted by the sun. Or winter, if you are in the other hemisphere, keep warm and stay hydrated!

It's been a pretty good year so far for game releases, some of our excellent developer friends have reached significant milestones, and we are all enjoying their successes! To name a few (in no particular order):

Origin Story by JDOR had its Steam release.

The Beautiful Game by Daggum Games had its Steam release.

Darkness & Desire by Drooskati Games ramped up production of this new game.

Alpha Omega by Ezy Games got its long awaited reworked version released.

Dreams of Glory by Pink Spectre finally opened their Patreon tiers.

My Dorm by Tropecita Games now has two seasons on Steam with the third on its way.

We also had the heartbreaking news that Wilson Wonka, developer of The Hellcat Lounge, passed away. A much loved and very well respected member of the community, who always had time for everyone, no matter their level of skill. So, from us at Mist Studios, we remember him and think of his family, colleagues and friends as they adjust to the loss, and we celebrate all the expertise, professionalism, and above all kindness that he brought to our small corner of the gaming pantheon. RIP.

Some numbers then:

Renders: About 250 (this is about 3 scenes).

Words: Just under 12,500 (this will change as the Editor tidies things up).

Animations: No clue, but probably some.

M&Ms: 12, plus one in between the sofa cushions, but it's a bit furry, so I am not counting it.

Right, enough of that, time for the poll results. And we are totally not surprised by the winner. We had a fantastic 174 votes and after adding in the weighting of the subscriber's votes, that bumped it up to 189. The winner was Rachel (49 votes). Then came the big surprise of 2nd place with Sarah (25 votes). In 3rd was Ashlynn (23 votes). The others were, in descending order: Jenna (22), Lara (21), Melony (17), Abi (11), Anna (7), Maria (6), Jessica (4), and Trisha (4).

Thank you to everyone who took part, Rachel will have her first scene in the next update. We already have the outline for her scene. Don't expect a full-on office fumble in the stationery cupboard 17 lines into the scene; as with all the girls, LI or Side Girl, they need a build-up. But, we know you will like her scene ;) The next Office-Girl scene poll will be during the next update cycle.

Couple of renders for ya! A smacked ass? And Rose, because Rose.

That's it till the end of the month, take care.

Be seeing you.
