Printing recommendations ✨
If you're wondering: we have used the default nozzle (0.4mm) and we’re amazed by the level of detail you can achieve! 🤩✨
Secure the components & the clicker with a drop of glue, to secure the pieces together and to withstand day-to-day use.
Not 3D Printed Parts 🛠️
The "clicky" component is created using a small, affordable part found in mechanical PC keyboards. Simply search for “Clicky Mechanical Switches” on Amazon o similar shop. While you wait to get a "real" clicker, you can also 3D print a "dummy" one.

Printed all 5 of the toppers and 5 bases. I divided it up into 7 plates so I could optimize it for 4 color filament changers. They look really good. I also had the issue with the alignment square on all but the heart topper. We ended up pulling the square on the rest and just gluing them on to the top. On the toppers once you are happy with them, I would print multiples if I needed them, just to be more efficient.
I printed these today with the strawberries & cream top, and the bottom edge of it appears to missing/too thin. It prints a razor thin slice that has some unnecessary red in it and doesn't leave a large enough hole for the little square peg. The others appear fine but I haven't printed them. Can you have a look? I was using the 3mf on Bambu Studio.
Also, I did some layer painting on the base piece and was able to get down to 6 color changes from 22 without changing the look if anyone is interested.
