Do You Love Magnets? 🧲❤️

Pssst, hi and happy Friday!!

As you know, we use round D8x2mm and round D4x2mm magnets in our models.

Exceptionally, in about a week, we will release a model with round D15x3mm magnets, because the design requires more magnetic power. The model is both design and functional, and... you might have already seen it in some of our latest videos on social media, even if it wasn't the main focus. 🙈

If you are planning to order magnets, please consider include this new size as well :) Note that the Bambulab magnets are really powerful compared to others you can find! 💪

We take this opportunity to remind you that, as a good practice, you can use a drop of glue to prevent the magnet from being "stolen" by the nozzle.

See you in a few hours, with the Valentine Teddy Bear drop, also available in print-in-parts! 🧸

Best,
Valeria & Mattia

I have so many different magnets for different prints, lol. At this point, what's a new size? X'D

eheh I understand you! At the beginning we had many varieties and sizes.. then we decided to "standardize" to help our subscribers to have a limited stock :p but if you are a fan of magnets, you will have no problems!

I'd like to vote but using magnets in my prints TERRIFIES me! lol I'm always afraid the nozzle is going to steal the magnet, or that I'll pause at the wrong time, idk something like that lol. Sadly I have printed multiple models that use magnets to attach their accessories and they're still sitting without magnets lol. Hoping eventually I'll get over the nervousness of adding things like that to my prints. Seeing stuff like this definitely piques my curiosity though! Thank you for sharing!

I totally get that feeling! It can be nerve-wracking at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's actually super easy! For extra safety, we let the glue dry for 2-3 minutes before attaching magnets, and we've never had any issues. It's all about taking those small precautions. Hopefully, you'll feel more confident about trying it out soon!
