WOTM: Mike Licona and the Christian Totalitarians
There are all kinds of little privileges Christians still have in this country — and elsewhere. Somehow, Christian scholars in various specialties get to be taken seriously even after they've signed a loyalty oath saying they will not speak of things which don't align perfectly with particular Christian dogmas.
Dr. Mike Licona was forced out of his job because he gave his honest scholarly opinion, based on his lifetime of study, in writing for the whole world to see. That got a whole boatload of Christians to get their panties in a bunch. It's time to stop taking seriously any of the scholars who sign such oaths.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. You're all my very favorite people. Enjoy! B

I am reminded of the late, great Tom Lehrer, who was kind enough to give his whole musical catalog to the public domain, for his song “Selling Out”. Enjoy https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yz-Aed356kA&list=RDyz-Aed356kA&start_radio=1&pp=ygUWc2VsbGluZyBvdXQgdG9tIGxlaHJlcqAHAQ%3D%3D&ra=m
I have a friend who laments, “And NO ONE thought to ask the resurrected dead what the other side was like and write down their responses?” I would have had a few burning questions myself. Maybe because the whole story is fan fiction?
Just cuz it needs to be said "Sharona was NOT a fan of Mike Licona."
LOL! 😂
Are the “many” that the zombies appeared to the same as the 500 that Jesus appeared to? I mean I never thought of that before.
You would think Paul would have mentioned that.
Bingo, Bri'! Just like what happened to B.H. Roberts for daring to tell the apostles that the Book of Mormon was more fairy tale than history. Kinda makes me wonder: if Matthew's account is true, how come there weren't any zombies among the Nephites too?
WOW! You just made me remember how important Studies of The Book of Mormon was in terms of my deconstruction. Almost forgot all about it. Thanks! ❤️
