WOTMQ: Apologists Are Doing It Wrong!
Two things: First, Apple is making it difficult for Patreon creators again. So, if you signed up to be a patron of the Mr. Deity channel via an Apple device, please cancel that patronage, go to a web browser, then Patreon, and sign up again. Otherwise, Apple will be taking 30% of what you give. Apparently, it's not punishment enough that their iOS and iPadOS software has absolutely gone to shit. Especially the dictation!
Second, I'm working on another longer piece for this month (17ish minutes), and it just occurred to me how awesome it is that I get to do this — with your help. It really does mean the world to me to have your ongoing support. I really do consider myself the luckiest man (echo: man, man, man) on the face of the earth (echo: earth, earth, earth, earth)!

How they're not following Jesus' example or His instructions to believers who want to go out and spread the word. They're all just a bunch of posers — the Phil Bros in particular!

Brian, is there another way to see if Apple is taking a large slice of your pie? I'm not so tech savvy. Does this Apple change also to other Patreon creators? And while I have your attention, why did you drop Keith from your credits? Just wondering.
Didn't mean to drop Keith if I did. Basically, if you became a Patron by using the iPhone Patreon app, then Apple will take 30%. And yes, that applies to all Patreon creators.

I've long thought that excusigists are simply mental masturbators, getting their rocks off by spewing rhetorical, razzle-dazzle flim-flam, mainly just to convince themselves.
I suspect that's the case for many of them.
