WOTMQ: Make Believers
Hello, my beautiful, bestest ever patrons! I hope you all had a great July. I'm still battling some serious back stuff, and my energy is still not back from the anemia (in March-June of '24 — D'oh!!!), so I'll be brief today. But I think this is a really good batch!!! And no dogs died on me this month, so I've got that goin'!!! 😘
Thank you all for your heartfelt condolences about Cookie. I love being connected to so many kind, thoughtful, intelligent, funny, and caring people. I'm most proud of my audience and my patrons, who really are the best!
In this video, I'm calling for non-believers to start using a new "Deityism" (as I've come to think of them). Instead of calling them "believers," we all need to start calling them "make believers." And in this video, I want non-believers to feel free to do that same, but with a much better narrative. #lowbar

“Make Believers” is a good label! I’d also vote for “Fairytaleists” and “Mythologists” and “Imaginists” and “Unrealists.”
I was surprised when I started saying it aloud (make believers), how easy it rolled off the tongue. I have a little OCD about that kind of thing.
