WOTM: The Absurdity Of Life With Jesus
Years ago, we took a look at a Low Bar Bill (William Lane Craig) video called, "The Absurdity Of Life Without God." For some reason, that video (which is linked in the description of this video) keeps popping up in my feed. So I finally decided to make my own version where I took the contrary position. I think you'll like it.
In other news somewhat related, I'm finally doing a video with Paulogia. If you don't know his work/channel, please check him out. He has Christian scholars' hair on fire with his take on the resurrection. This video will play a part in that video... tangentially.
Well, here we are again with me feeling overwhelming gratitude for your generosity. I can't believe I get to make these videos. I know they're changing hearts and minds. We have the receipts.
In Judaism, they say, "save a life, save the world." I say, "change a life, change the world." Thank you all so much for helping me with this ongoing project. I love you all as much as anyone can love a group of people never met. Truly! Deeply!
I hope you enjoy this month's offerings. Don't forget to comment both here and on YouTube when they post there during the month. And have a great April!!! Enjoy! B

Damn good, Brian!
Powerful!
For believers… this truth will hurt. I hope! It mystifies me that believers want to go to “heaven,” but can’t tell us anything about what it will be like there. What are they going to do? Get a job? Sit around singing the Lard’s praises in some sort of huge Tabernacle Choir? Suffer through a never ending family reunion? That WOULD be hell.
LOL! 😂
Top Shelf Brian!
Very strong. Thanks.
Some Screwtape Letters energy here
A big part of my reconversion was when I realized that the standard was so high that it could never be met especially when I failed before I was even born.
I think we need a "damn you, autocorrect" on this on. When I was writing this piece, the computer kept changing deconversion to reconversion. D'oh!!!
Beautifully done. I've been becoming a fan of the philosophy of absurdism. My limited understand of absurdism is that it is the quest to figure out how to deal with the conflict between our desire for meaning and purpose, and the universe's stubborn refusal to give us any. We can choose religion to ignore the conflict and pretend some god has it figured out, or we can just accecpt this conflict without resolution and live our lives the best we can. It is absurd either way, but your video shows that the later choice is a much better option.. Thanks for making these.
Great comment! Thanks for taking the time. ♥️
