Development update - Chapter 1 Part 4B
Hi everyone,
Let me start this update with a huge thank-you to my amazing community. Earlier this week, after seeing the TPOT rating on GSL, I felt bad, felt attacked by unfair reviews. It felt like a hammer bashing on my head. Low rating and tagging that game with dislikes. I usually don't pay attention, but I couldn't keep it inside me that time. I wrote a post about it and explained how I am feeling and asked people to help me fight this unfairness, and the amazing thing is that good people stood by me and helped me raise the rating and add detailed reviews about what they liked in the game. It's truly amazing to see that and know that people like my game and are willing to help me rise. So thank you, each and every one of you who help me and support me in any way. You truly give winds to my sails, and after reading the reviews and knowing people are waiting for another update, I am feeling amazing right now.
It's new banner season! You know what that means? It means that I am working on a new part for book 1. This one will be the final one. I don't intend to split it again. I am left with one really big scene, and after that it's a wrap for the first book.
The game is being translated right now; two of my translators have already finished and handed me the files back, and two more are working on it as we speak. I lost two translators; they just aren't answering anymore, so I had to find new ones. One is a very close friend who helps me; he never did it before, but I trust him with my eyes closed. He might need more time, but I know he will do a great job. For the other translation, I have no option but to play a pro translator. We talked this week, and he wants to start from scratch. I can relate to that and understand that. I know he is legit; I got a recommendation from another dev I trust. So, I believe he should advance a lot this week, and we will keep in touch to see how it's going.
Other than that, I am working on rendering for the mini-game; it's starting to look good. It needs more assets than I thought it would. But I want it to feel good to play, and I am not quite there yet. I hope to finish it this week and move on to the next scene. So I haven't added a lot of renders this week, but I did work a lot on the code and the flow of the minigame.

Oh, that's great news 🥳🎉! Now we're finally getting to the end, and I can start playing the game 🤣. Let's see what happened with the parents 😶🌫️❓.
glad you got such a positive response but not surprised. I see a lot of good attitudes for AVNs here and discord. not so much in steam but ehhh steam is more a necessary evil.
The thing is, you have no idea how many scams we fell for on Steam in the "AVN world". I'm not talking about the subjective aspects of each game, like the story. Rather, I'm talking about abandoned Early Access titles, famous "Season 1" that never get a "Season 2", and censorship patches applied years after launch 😵. However, there's a small, select group of games that are very beloved, as evidenced by the comments and hundreds—and, in some cases, thousands—of ratings above 90% 😉.
That's some impressive progress and great news. 🥳 It's good to know that the supporters came through, and it is all well deserved. 💯 I'm interested in the walkthrough now. I think I will wait until the Book 1 is completed before I grab my copy. Would it be available to those who picked up the game on Itch? 😎👍
