Development update - Chapter 1 Part 4
Hi everyone,
This week I worked on another part of the big final scene. This one is quite exciting, 'cause it includes Venus, and there is some really fun stuff going on in this scene. I waited so long to render this scene; it needs many renders to look cinematic. I worked a lot on it this week. I had almost zero distractions and managed to pose 160 renders this week. The queue is blown up with static renders and animations. My machine can't keep up with me this week. I really feel that if I had a different machine only for animations, things would look different.
I am thinking about what is left to do. I created a list, and, to be honest, it is not a small one, but I still have a few characters that I want the MC to interact with. I don't want to rush it. It will look bad if, all of a sudden, things go very fast and I cut renders just to reach the finish line. I won't do it. It will take weeks (maybe more) to finish the static renders if I work at full speed with zero distractions. I also want to add more animations. That's without coding and beta testing. This update is already very big, and I'll probably spend a lot of time post-editing everything, so I am thinking about what I can do here. The last scene is bigger than I thought.

Renders
This week was the first week without any customs. But that doesn't mean I didn't create renders for you guys.
Lauren and Venus in an artistic MonoChrome render - here.
More soul rendering for our new/old girl Shani - here.
We had a nice poll on Discord to select another girl for another render, as this is Discord-exclusive. Go check it out on my server - here.
Previews
This week, the preview featured Venus. Join the Senior+ tier to unlock it - here.
Thank you, and have a great weekend.

Will this be the end of Book 1? As you know, I'm just a tourist here for now, I haven't played any of it yet. I've only seen the dozens of previews that DogCat uploaded to tempt us, and I've read the synopsis summary. I don't know whether to become a Senior member or wait for the game to be released on Steam later this year 🤔🤷.
Hey Pick. Not sure what you mean by "Will this be the end of book 1?" If you are asking if this is the last scene of book 1? Yes, it's the last scene. But it's big, will probably have more than 1000 renders. We are already sitting on close to 700 for this scene alone. Did you try the demo on Steam? If not, I encourage you to try and see if it's for your taste. Steam and Patreon are two different platforms with different goals. If you like what you see and enjoyed the demo, you might want to become a Senior. Seniors have more content than the demo offers, and you can already play more of the game while waiting for the full release. And you can support me. Or you can also wait for the Steam release. It's really up to you. Previews are available for the Senior+ tier. So I am not sure which you saw because you are on the Junior tier :)

Hey Johnathan! Sorry for the late reply. My wife didn't feel well yesterday. Now she is all good. I am excited to hear about the customs. You always have great ideas, as I witnessed with your requests for JDOR.
