Development update - Chapter 1 Part 4

Hi everyone,

A new scene! I made modifications to the environment in two places. This environment is huge, so I can't do it all at once. The hardware just won't be able to keep up with high texture assets and an environment this big, so I change things as I go, but I am done for now, and the first part of the new scene is completed, a nice conversation that will shed more light on some of the characters. Moving to the next part of the scene, it involves more characters, so I need to prepare to introduce them. Overall, I made good progress this week. I see renders I want to fix or add more elements to. But most of them are good.

I believe that everything is happening at its time. I always feel bad when I rest and don't work on the game, and I feel like I could maybe be quicker or do better, but I also believe that waiting brings wonderful things and helps things mature at the right pace. So while I am doing my best to finish things at the highest speed I can, I also know that good things will come on the way, and it just happened. I just found an AMAZING new track, just superb, and it fits so well with the upcoming scene, I can't believe it just happened to me. This track is going to be one of your favorites. You know I choose everything very carefully, and this one just came into my hands like it was made for the game. It's just superb, it's perfect, I don't have the words to describe how good it is, and I can't wait for you to hear it in-game. I also found two more tracks that are more chilled that will also be a perfect fit for the scene.

I have a really great idea for a mini-game I want to implement. It's very light, fun, and quick, and you can get really nice prices if you win. Can't wait to start working on it. I think I am also going to give the option to skip it, but you will also skip great prices.

Poll results

White one big time. Vote-wise, there was a draw, but two very powerful voters voted white, so it closed the case. I have to say, I really like the white; she looks kinda innocent with it. Don't you think? 🤣

Also, one more thing: I see a lot of you guys who have been here a long time voting in the poll. Thank you so much. I am so grateful for your support. We reached 2000 Patreons, and we are soon to reach 2000 Discord users. Once we reach it, I'll create a new Lauren render for celebration.

Thank you, and have a great.
