Development update - Chapter 1 Part 4

Hi everyone,

Sometimes animations can be a pain. And the last two animations I created have been a real pain. One reason is that it's really hard to control this hair in animations, and the other is that after I finished posing the second animation, I realized I don't like the character's tongue textures and need to find something more realistic. I found something that looks really good, but now I need to think about what to do with those two animations. And by saying I need to think about it, I mean I will not stop thinking about it until I fix it. And that means to pose the tongue again (which is a real pain, cause the controls are different) and to re-render the animation that almost reached the end of it, and waste almost 20 hours of rendering time :( I know myself, if it won't look good in the end, I will change it. I can't stand it when something doesn't meet my standards.

So, I managed to create 5 new animations this week. Those animations are far the most ambitious animations and the most complicated I have created to date. All of them are at least 6 seconds long for a more realistic feeling. This brings us to 10 animations for this update now, and there will be more next week. Creating them is really draining, cause I used to pose for 2 hours, then hit the render button to test, and now I pose for 4-6 hours before testing. But the end result looks so good that I am really satisfied, and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.

Steam

I want to take this opportunity and say that I am very pleased with the Demo performance on Steam. I didn't expect that, it's exciting and touching my heart to see the love I got there in the last two weeks since the release, and it brings wind to my sails and checks a lot of boxes in my mind, helping me focus more on giving you the best quality and where to invest more.
