Development update - Chapter 1 Part 4
Hi everyone,
Let's start with good news. Steam approved the demo build on Tuesday! That's a great milestone. Although it's only a demo, that means they don't have any issues with its content. And that's a huge relief cause now I can use this demo to join festivals and Steam Fest to grow my audience before the official Steam release. Plus, I have now experienced and am working with Steam utilities in order to upload the game.
If everything goes according to plan, the demo will be released today at 4 pm UTC. I know most of you probably already played the latest version, but this should help me reach more audience.
Animations. This week, I posed 4 new animations, each 4-6 seconds. Tested them. I wasn't satisfied with the longest one, so I fixed it and tested it again (every test is like 2 hours), and 3 out of 4 are already rendered; the last one is 180 frames, so it will probably take all day to render. Not much more to say about. This is only the first part, and more animations will follow. Next week, I'll resume rendering the scene's continuation.
