Development update - Chapter 1 Part 4

Hi everyone,

Started the week with a finished demo, uploaded it to Steam, created a new application for it, plus all the assets that come along with it. Now I am at the mercy of the reviewers. Let's hope I don't need to fix much.

Other than that, I started the week with a PC storage problem. The problem is that I am lacking storage for Daz Dufs. I have 3TBs and it's not enough. So I started backing up the files to an external HD while also backing it up on my cloud storage. I save every scene I make, and most weigh 100-300 MB each, so you can understand how quickly storage fills up. So, the first part of chapter 1 was backed up and deleted from my computer. I don't think I'll need it now. I might go back to it to improve the visuals. But I don't have time for that right now. It's so weird to look at the folder and not see the part1 folder.

The part I am working on now, regarding the scene render, is the most difficult one and requires a lot of testing. It's not very long, and it will conclude soon. But sometimes it can be frustrating when it doesn't look as good as I want it to. I feel like this part got me a little burnt out, so I need a bit of a rest, and rest is what my soul needs. But don't you worry, I am really close to finishing the annoying part and getting to the fun part. It doesn't seem like I made much progress this week on the render count, but I am trying to power through this part and constantly changing the scene's variables; it's time-consuming. But I did progress, and I am almost done with this part, so bear with me, everyone.

Just to give you a taste of what I do right now. I'll blur things here to avoid spoilers.

Look at the number of spotlights. Every movement means to move some of them.
