Development Update Chapter 1 Part 3

Hi everyone, and good day to you.

Scene 18 is done, polished, and working great. Two more Dianna's render galleries are ready. We currently have five new gallery images. So 11 so far for the whole update. 6 of Lauren's and 5 for Dianna's.

One of Dianna's renders is going to be a big scrollable image. This is a new gallery feature I implemented. There will be two render sizes: a standard 2K size and a larger 2560x4550 size render for you to unlock.

Working on scene 19 and going well so far. I am halfway through it. Some renders looked off to me, so I had to adjust facial expressions and fix hair poke-throughs to make them look right.
I have been working on editing some renders that combine several images to create something I want. An example of that is this image from scene 14, when the camera is located inside the fish tank:

It has two layers: one is the blurred layer and the other is the focused layer.
People might take that for granted, but it's editing work that takes time and precision.

Pace is quite good. If I can maintain this pace, I'll have an alpha version ready for my testers by the end of next week. Let's remember that this scene also has animations and packing around 650 renders, and I also suck at time estimations, so I don't want to promise anything yet, but I'll do my best. Also, I owe two more customs to my supporters, and I'll work on them at the start of next week.

Current implemented render count is 1874.

The alpha version means that it includes all the story and decisions, but some other features are not yet implemented. That's to speed up the Quality Assurance process and allow testers to work while I continue to develop the other missing features. Like the bios and adding some booleans, this is the way to help in the future. I am also planning to add one screen that will allow the player to see his current relationships status and his MC's nature. The logic is already in place. I use it for debugging, and my testers will also have the privilege to see it and use it in their tests, which will make their lives easier. But the UI itself needs to be created from scratch. I don't want to go further into this until I have something to show. Additionally, I've been experiencing a very annoying bug on the phone.
I like to have at least one challenge when I develop so that I can improve and learn. The first challenge of this game was to create a phone application from scratch. And I did just that. You won't find this phone anywhere. I know it's a bit skinny now. However, I plan to add a bit more to it in the future. It's mainly for text messages right now. The issue is that the phone does not automatically scroll down when a new message is written. It's more annoying than I thought it would be. I spent four hours trying to fix it, but unfortunately, I was unable to do so. Since I believe it is a minor issue, I will not address it at this stage. I'll deal with it between Alpha and Beta testing. Hopefully, I'll manage to fix it.
