One Piece 1x08 Reaction

It be cool if you watched the Anime up until the point of where the live action is, so you can see the differences between the two. I think would be cool to see and then you're not going through all the episodes since it's only 45 episodes to get to where the live action ends. Not to mention if you end up really liking the anime, then you could just continue on.

Shogun is only gonna be one season so i hope you guys put it on a poll! It's been very good so far.

You have to watch Shōgun next. It's SO good!!!!

i cant believe you patreon family didnt convince them to watch THE ANIME rather than this trash.

Well since everyone is throwing new shows that could be next I guess I will throw one . Since you loved Battlestar Galactica and The Expanse check Firefly if you didn't already . It's only 14 episodes and a movie so it could be something to watch before you commit to something longer with more seasons .

You really should consider watching the first 45 episodes of the anime, which covers the East Blue arc. It would be totally worth it, I promise you.

this was so nice 😭😭

So is Andor next?

Lol shanks getting drunk was played for laughs I think

Please just watch the first 45 episodes of the Anime I know everyone is saying it lol

Loved this show and your reactions! I don’t think Shanks is having problems that’s what pirates do they get drunk! Part of being a pirate. 🥴🍻

You guys should defiantly watch shogun next. People are comparing it to the early seasons of game of thrones and there’s only a few episodes so far.

Maybe we should go for the Pirate Trifecta this year and also watch “Our Flag Means Death” for a little dark humor about love and not being toxic to yourself and others while being a pirate

It's funny seeing you ladies put Kolby and Helmeppo so high as one of your favorite parts because they were NOT in the manga or anime like that throughout these first arcs. Legit ALL of their scenes were made up for this show and many Manga readers and Anime watchers actually hated seeing them so much. It just goes to show the benefit of being a brand new watcher, things like their story being added, you can appreciate, instead of complaining because you know they shouldn't be there. Garp being revealed as Luffy's Grandpa is also something that doesn't happen until MUCH later in the story, it was very much fast tracked here and also one of the biggest complaints I have seen about this show, and I'm not going to lie, I also didn't like that they added the reveal in, but overall I heavily enjoyed this adaptation and can't wait for the next season!!!!

I strongly recommend a sci-fi series currently airing on Apple TV called "Constellation". It starts from the protagonist trying to escape from a space station which suffered from a collision, and after she returned to earth she gradually realized she was in a different timeline... It's 4 episodes in with a total of 8 and so far it is really intense and suspenseful. And you can also see Jonathan Banks (Mike in Better Call Saul) playing an important character in this series.

the reaction to Shanks was very relatable loll

It really saddens me that it's impossible for you 2 to react to the One Piece anime because it's definitely my favorite show, and you girls are possibly my favorite reactors due to the depth of your discussions, but still I understand the reasoning. I really hope you consider watching the remake version once it's out tho!

You guys should definitely react to “The World of One Piece” on YouTube. It gives a look into how deep the world building truly is. Also season 2 can start whenever you want if you watch the anime🤞🏻

still hoping andor can find its way in the rotation eventually but i understand on a a similar note, both house of the dragon (jun 2) and the boys (jun 13) have release dates so it’ll be interesting to see how they allocate the show slots

i really hope you guys would do a one piece openings reaction :(

Firefly

Frieren :)

Good riddance. Shogun should be a priority. Nothing better rn.

Hoping for Andor, but won’t be the end of the world if they wait until the second (and final) season comes out next year to watch it in one go. The only thing I do not recommend is the live action Avatar. Even knowing it’s sub-par to the original show, it really does not come close to doing it justice, and I understand why the original creators walked way from Netflix

Very glad you guys decided to watch this. Can't wait for season 2! Btw, there is a new show called Shogun that is REALLY GOOD and everyone's been raving about it. Would love to see you guys react to it in the future! EDIT: Although we're only 3 episodes in, so maybe wait until the entire season is over before looking into it. You never know, some shows can start strong but end weak. But so far, it's great. It's similar to Game of Thrones but set in Feudal Japan.

So what other short live action are you guys watching next? :))) People were asking for Andor so I’m down for that.

i honestly don't know if you are going to check out the avatar life action or watch on your own. tbh, do not recommend at all, you can see in every single episode a bunch of reasons why the creators decided to walk out of the project, but that's entirely up to you. i hear the andor fans always getting exited when a new slot for short show opens, and there's also firefly or barry (well, that one's not that short). but you could also just not react to another show for a while and go back to just 3 shows so you can have more time to edit.

What a surprise when they figured it's Shanks . Loved it 😃

Aye! Recommendations bout to be popping for a new show so here is mines. Vox machina & Shogun. Best regards.

Avatar live action next please?

it was a funny and light-hearted show (i haven't watched the anime but i hear that's not always going to be the case). it's a netflix show, so i would asume a two year break and then another short season. sadly that's how shows work nowadays.

You guys have no idea how glad i am you guys watched this. One piece is one of my favorite shows and once the live action came out I immedietly thought it would be crazy if you guys watched it. So you guys atleast know all these cool characters. I cant wait for Season 2.

So glad y’all liked One Piece!! I know the anime is way too long to do a true reaction watchthrough, and this would have to be a Patreon exclusive or something for copyright reasons, but y’all should strongly consider watching One Pace, a fan project that cuts out all the filler from the anime - they’ve completed most of the first half of the series already and it reduces it from 500 episodes to like 100! It’s how I’ve introduced all my friends to the anime and they fucking love it

Since you just ended this im here to say we want Andor hopefully, unless you've made an executive decision
