You are going to witness one of the most beautiful moments not only in anime history but in all writing of any kind.
The lions power works so well because people don't realize they're making a deal. Most people will casually say "yeah sure" when someone who just helped them says "you owe me." They won't think anything of it. Given the conditions of the lions power, there is a 0% chance his plan would work. 1. There is no situation where the king would need the lions help. 2. If by some miracle the lion helped the king and told him "you owe me" the lion would get murdered a thousand times before the king ever said "yeah sure." 3. If by an even bigger miracle the king says yeah sure and the plan goes as the lion had hoped he would still only have the kings power for 1 hour and only so long has the king is alive. So if he uses the kings power to kill the king he'll immediately lose that power. So anyone that is stronger than the lion could just kill him. He wouldn't be king for long.
It's not the worst plan. One would figure that Leol is in it for the long haul. If the rental does materialize, I could envision a scenario where Leol uses it to devour Royal Guard slain by the king for one reason or another. Would that be enough for him to eventually challenge the king? No, but the plan isn't outright crazy once other factors are introduced. It just needs a lot of cooking
Has anyone else noticed the continuity error for Cheetu's claw crossbow? Sometimes it's drawn with 4 blades while other times it's drawn with 3.
it's continuous with how unrefined his use of nen is 🤓
It's not embarrassing for the king to come up with a move she came up a decade ago as a kid lol, he's probably like a month old and learned this game like a day ago. He has abnormal intelligence and strength but when it comes to experience and arguably maturity he's a literal newborn infant. She's an old lady compared to him lol.
It's embarrassing because of how cocky he is.
If you guys were interested in good 100-200 episode series I can definitely give recommendations because I actually prefer longer running anime over shorter ones. A lot of the series will be sports though because those are usually the ones that run from that specific length that still manage to uphold the same level of quality but there are some from other genres. I know it’s a long shot but there’s an older long running anime called legend of the galactic heroes and it’s absolutely amazing and you would love it. It’s a space opera set in a galaxy where two governments have been at war for 100 years and it follows 2 different eccentric leaders of the different militaries as they rise the ranks and deal with the politics of their governments. It’s mature, realistic, has probably one of the longest roster of named memorable characters, and is portrayed as if a historian is doing a documentary. Y’all would really like it.
Best recommendation EVER.
i cant stop smiling at the way yall say icky like it is tooo cute
i never feel like the reactors I've seen are as invested in the king's storyline as you guys are rn so you're bringing me so much joy lol
It's a shame their viewing experience was ruined by watching the ending. lol
Was everyone else’s viewing experience ruined when they watched it. Because not a single person skipped the ending.
So regarding Cheetu creating a brand new Nen ability on the spot, I think it comes down to 2 things. 1. He's a squadron leader Chimera Ant. After being alive for a little over 2 months they're already able to take on human nen users that have been training for decades. Their potential is at LEAST on the same level as Gon and Killua, and as Morel said being derived from animals means they're even more in touch with their "desires", something crucial in using nen well. 2. Cheetu is mostly a cheetah, who naturally use their claws to hunt. So it isn't a stretch to imagine a claw based ability being extremely easy for him to visualise and create like Kurapika did with his chains. The crossbow was so weak that Morel could repel it with 0 effort at all, showing just how weak an ability it truly was.
Here's a quick rundown of the ant's plan that we know so far: The selection the ants are doing is to create Nen users among the population to use as an army since they have no reliable way to birth any new ants at the moment. Nerferpitou was using her puppets to hit people across the country with concentrated Nen, like Wing did to the boys back in Heaven's Arena, and Rammot did to Colt and the other ants, to find anyone strong enough to have their Nen unlocked without dying from the attack. They only got through a single day of the selection before Killua interrupted it because he and Gon decided they couldn't let that happen. Around 500,000 people were checked on day one, most died, with about 5000 survivors, those are the ones in the cocoons being kept ready for later use. Since it was interrupted and they don't think they can send out the puppets so far away without the Hunters just breaking them, the Royal Guard are instead waiting for the rest of the population to arrive at the capitol for the "celebration" that the "supreme leader" announced on TV, and they'll continue the selection here where they can personally defend it. That's the countdown of "10 days remaining" that our team plans to prevent from happening, since millions who fail the Nen punch test will just die.
Have the girls watch Naruto or they haven't ?
Lola has seen half.
thank you! Nice reaction 🥰
At the beginning, they were just placing their pieces respective to their desired strategy. After the pieces are placed in a certain position, the game can begin.
idk if you got it by the end but in the beginning it wasnt eggs, it was food stock for the king if i am not mistaken - the ants even said it
Captain Ants said that. They were just speculating they have no idea what's really going on. The good guys already explained the plan though, they are turning humans with Nen into Chimera Ants. Those eggs are the first batch of 5,000. There would have been more but Killua, Morel and Knov stopped that from happening.
Some of my favourite scenes are the ones with the king and the girl..they always had me on the edge of my seat even though I didn't understand the game lmaooo
That little spark of light is the girl's old strategy (her child) being reborn... only to be killed again, by her own hands (the spark goes dark again). The spark had nothing to do with the king here technically, but I guess your interpretation has merit too. :)
Can we just have a week of just HxH? We know this is the best show you guys are currently watching ヾ(๑╹◡╹)ノ"
Gungi isn't actually a real game, it's made up by the author, so you're not missing out anything by not knowing the rules!
It makes me want them to watch Hikaru no Go though, that's for sure!
Nen is the best power system ever invented.
