Meruem is a child. He’s like 10 days old.
He was born around the time Gon lost his Nen from the fight with Knuckle, and Gon has since got his Nen back. So Meruem is about a month old at least, since Knuckle's IRS lasts 30 days.
I always thought Komugi to be a younger child but It makes more sense if she’s at least 18
It's weird because her character design makes her look both like a child and an old woman.
I think what the girl really represents is weakness, she’s not only blind, she can barely walk, she appears to be sick and weak with the snots in the nose and everything, so in my point of view is the representation of the contrast between a "perfect creature" (the king), the top of all species, and the weakest creature possible (the girl)
I thought the girl was like 12, I got Toph vibes when she came in. I’m shocked that most of the comments are saying she’s in her late-teens
I think she's intentionally shown to be more childlike than her age would suggest. Meruem's insult is pretty spot on, she is not very mentally capable in any area except gungi. Maybe even on the level you could call a mental handicap. She has most likely been taken care of by her family her whole life and would thus be stunted in maturity.

The King saying "bring that idiot back" refers to the girl, who they referenced being so dumb she caused herself to faint. Since the Go player is dead, he can continue playing against her.
you are right, she is an adult and she didn't start playing when she was 7. She is not 12. She looks more like a short woman than a child...I actually agree with Lola, I think she is more than 20. The range I read in some comments is made up so you can make your own guess about it
Yeah, at the end of the day her age is never explicitly stated so it's all speculation in our part, though I think we can safely assume she's not a child at least.

The girl exorcises Nen by giving birth to it. If you remember the Nen exorcist from Greed Island created a creature made of Nen that he had to carry around with him. It seems that Nen can't just be erased but can only be passed on. They change the qualities of the Nen and give it an end time that isn't forced but natural. Like the end of a pregnancy or the end of creatures life. It's kind of like equivalent exchange. At least that's my interpretation.
Good comparison and analogy
I don't actually thing the girl is that old, she probably has been playing since a very early age, but imo she's most likely between the ages of 16 and 18, so she's not a child either (though that's me speculating, of course, and I could be wrong). We can guess she is not very young because she's always reffered to as a woman, and also because we can tell she has a developed figure and not that of a child, though you can't tell when she's using baggy clothes.

All the players have beaten the king initially. That's to be expected. The Go player lost after 10 games. The king simply assumes he'll outsmart them eventually and become the best.

I don't think I ever saw the Gungi player as a little kid, even despite her appearance. They use "girl" and "woman" to refer to her pretty interchangeably. As it goes on it becomes clear she's been a national champion for many years, played this game professionally for even more years, and first began to play it and work her way up even more years before that. She's probably not old, but, definitely an adult.
I would guess she's about 17.
Anytime Meruem and the Gungi master are on my screen I am laser focused! Idk why I find their interaction so interesting! Also, her eyes are so pretty 🤩

If you're interested to know, she's been champion for 5 years, not 15. Her age is not clearly stated, but most say 17 to 19. It's a fair guess based on context we are given
