Black Sails 2x01 Full Reaction

I’m probs the only Critical Role fan here, but the way Lola says “pooping” takes me right to Jester “you pooping?” Lavore in my head lol

My third time watching the episode and I only just noticed the two naked men hanging upside down at 18:35

Lola is right, it is a different actor playing Dufresne. Jannes Eiselen, the actor of the first season, found out he had cancer and had to leave the show. He died a couple of years later, unfortunately.

"No, please don't tell me it's ending!" Love to hear that haha

Jannes Eiselen, the original actor for Dufresne, unfortunately couldn't continue acting as he was diagnosed with brain cancer, and sadly passed away.

Okay, I'll say this too: Ned Lowe is a real pirate from history, and one with a reputation for being *incredibly* vicious. They would usually burn ships after capturing them, and would often torture people who survived the initial attack. So the show's portrayal of him isn’t too far off, from what I understand.

Flint really is a mastermind. Doesn't matter how bad the situation is, he quickly think of a plan, not only to get out of it, but to also come out on top, eventually.

Answering a few ship questions you had at the start... A "Man of War" is a warship, hence why it has 100 guns. The ship that Flint captains is called The Walrus.

Where the heck do I even watch Black Sails?

You girls really like to post this in 2am , don’t you :)

I'm so thrilled for the start of this new season!

I’ll save most of my comments for the reaction, but I’m so excited that we are starting season two! Can’t wait to see what you both think of it.

Yayyyy, just as I had given up hope that I wouldn't get to watch my pirates tonight! And jesus Lola does NOT look happy in the thumbnail. Not even a single full second into season 2 and she's decided she hates the show 😰
