Rip Black Sails. Really a shame how much you hate it so you stopped reacting to it. : (
really bro they stop it?
Where can I watch Ranking of Kings? Is it on any streaming services or do I gotta get on one of my anime sites😏
it is on crunchyroll
I just recently subscribed to your patreon after watching your reactions on Youtube for about 6 months and I couldn't be happier that you're planning on putting Haikyuu on a poll next! I have already recommended Fruits Basket multiple times on your Youtube comment section but now that I'm on Patreon I hope my recommendation of this show will reach you as I do believe it's the perfect show for you, especially after Violet Evergarden. So here's to hoping it will be included in a future poll!
This could be the most adorable reaction ever. I've never seen this one and really looking forward to watching along!
Haikyuu please🥺🥺🥺🩵
So glad you confirmed that after hxh you'll watch either monster or haikyuu😭 they're the perfect choice for you, the others longer anime can wait! Now I really hope you'll consider Pluto after ranking of kings 🙏
Please if you like to watch over kids growing up and adapting into the world surrounding them or fighting against it, please please please watch Beastars next!!! Even though people may say it’s some furry show, the truth of the show is to talk about social problems and a bunch of broken youth going through their adolescence.
For the Ranking Of Kings fans who may not have been here for Violet, we have a Discord for us regular Patrons to discuss the shows further. There's separate channels for discussing shows with full series spoilers, or for no spoilers past the latest episode reacted to. There's also channels for recommending series and anything else to one another, something we haven't been able to do since Patron got rid of Member Posts/Community tab, as well as the spreadsheet detailing everything the girls have/haven't watched. There's even a channel for cats 😺😊 Hope to see you there! https://discord.com/invite/dr3gZkxj
You two are gonna love this show ❤️
This show is so under-rated!
He said that he reads lips and thats why he can understand them.
They never say an age for Bojji or Daida in the show, I think the consensus from japanese sources place Bojji being 14 and Daida around 12. Two reasons Bojji seems so much younger than his age is that one, he's just small, and two he's probably infantilized because of his deafness, being seen as useless or dumber than he actually is. A short summary on how people viewed Deafness in history; a heavily discriminated and marginalized group, labeled Dumb (Mute) which led people to originally believe they were incapable of logical reasoning. Sign Languages were formally recorded in the 1500s between the American Natives and Europeans, and there were attempts to utilize in education for the Deaf. In the 1800s Oralism arose which rejected use of Sign Language and forced Deaf people to gain education purely by learning to speak and lip-read which was an extraordinarily difficult if not an impossible endeavor, students were forbidden to use sign language and were considered failures if they continued to do so. This period is considered a 'dark age for the deaf community' and Sign language was not fully accepted back into education until the late 1900s, officially 2000s. Deaf people were extremely looked down upon and misunderstood and the mindset prevailed even into the 2000s. Which explains a lot about why it was so hard for me to properly get my hearing diagnosed as a very young child in the early 2000s.
I would have said 12 and 15, as we later see the pregnancy of Daida in a flashback and Bojji already looked 2 years old. I would therefore estimate him to be 3 years older.
Not sure if it would be considered long or short, but Fruits Basket is 63 episodes and has so much heart with a lot of amazing female characters, and a female lead like Violet!
ahh!! I'd love for them to watch fruits basket!! I think they would love it
Just to clarify, Bojji is born deaf and mute, it’s not due to how he was raised. Man I can’t believe this is going to be weekly
if Haikyuu wins the poll get ready to adopt at least 20 children 😂
it rly does feel like a Mob and Dimple relationship now you mention it. Kage is that friend that isnt afraid to speak the truth to Boji but cant help but want to protect him
Did anyone see the 10 OVA episodes of the treasure chest of courage? I only saw them once but I’m not sure if they should watch them after the show or insert those episodes chronologically like they did with Fullmetal Alchemist
When Lola said “first we kill the king” I laughed hard 😂 They’re almost crying for Bojji and it’s the first episode
Omg this is amazing you’re watching this
OMG half my wish came true first ranking of kings and then hopefully Haikyuu 🙏
I would cry happy tears if they watch Haikyuu. My orange cat's name is Hinata 🤣
on a scale from eyes tearing up to no tears left on your body how much do you think they're going to cry next episode?
I'm expecting high levels of dehydration
oh my god
Going to try and keep a "Boy", "Child", "Kids" counter for this series so for episode one we have a total of 3 before the episode starts. During and after the episode 9. Brings us to 12 total folks
Yesss, time for an amazing journey!! Boji BEST BOY! And Prince Dida is voiced by Yuki Kaji, Eren Jeager's voice actor
Don't y'all have enough adopted sons already? Haha
Lol, just wait until they watch Haikyuu, they'll get like 50 new sons.
ill be watching for the first time with the girls, so let's avoid spoiler comments; thanks :)
You're in for one heck of a ride! Enjoy! ^_^
I would like to comment on a few things: The first episode is inspired by the folktale "The Emperor's New Clothes," written by Hans Christian Andersen. This was confirmed by the author in an interview. "Kage" is the Japanese word for "shadow." The sign language in Ranking of Kings is supervised by the Tokyo Federation of the Deaf. One of the animators, Hiromi Yoshida, has hearing difficulties. In an interview, she said, "I drew two parts of the sign language cut in episode 2. I love this manga, and it was a very fun experience to dive into it and portray my own language through character animation. It might have been the first time in my life where I felt glad to be hard of hearing (I've had slight hearing difficulties since birth)." The author of the manga has maintained anonymity. In an interview, at the time the anime was released, he said, "My parents don't know anything about it. They still think I am working as a salaryman. They are old-fashioned and conservative types who have no understanding of manga as a career. I am afraid that they will worry about me if they find out that I make a living by drawing manga, so I keep it secret from them." The Japanese voice actor for Prince Daida is Yuuji Kaji, who also voices Eren Jaeger.
I am SO excited you're giving this show a shot. It's one I didn't expect to love, but got hooked 100% by the end of episode 1
YES
I love that I can now just recognize Yuki Kaji’s voice (Eren’s VA) in under 5 seconds 😂
He has a very distinct voice, when I watched MHA I recognized his and Reiner's VA almost immediately 😄
Oh my goodness, this show is adorable! My cold, dead heart is in love already ❤️
Finally, Ranking of Kings! I feel so happy! Please for the people who already watch the show avoid spoilers in the comments. Don't ruin this experience for others. I know there are awesome characters that we love, but don't reveal things prematurely.
I subscribed to Patreon for this Thank you, you're gonna love it ❤️ PD: I'm sorry girls, prepare tissues for this one.
same
Finally my King !
didn't expect this
Watch frieren
I hope Frieren gets added to a poll at some point cause they would absolutely love that show
Just a random question, how many episodes is this show? I dropped this anime after 5 episodes because ain’t my cup of tea but I want to know how long we gotta wait for a new show after this.
you coulda googled instead of making yourself look cringe in public
Yes! Time to adopt a new boy!
heard so many good things about this show but never got around to it. excited to start it with y’all!
You're in for a treat. I hadn't heard of this before the YaBoyRoshi channel started reacting to it. It came out of nowhere for me but ended up being my anime of the year that year. Plus it's got that crispy WIT Studio animation with simplistic character models that really adds to some nice fluid animation.
Black Sails and Ranking of Kings? What is it, my birthday? LFG🔥
YEEEEY THANK YOU!
Oh and this is all done by Studio WIT who did Attack on Titan before MAPPA took over. Side note: I would commit war crimes for Bojji.
YEEEESSS🌸🪷💗🌟🌳🍭💘🫧
AAAHHHHHHH FINALLY Get ready for my second favorite anime friendship and also some of the most complex character motivations I've seen in anime.
Ohhhh man this is one is right up y’all’s alley, I’m definitely gonna be tuned in
Yes!!!
Here we go!!! I haven’t seen the reaction yet but Deida, the blonde kid who is Bocchi’s younger brother, is voiced by Eren Yeager’s VA

I’ve been waiting for your reactions to watch this show. I already know Boji is the best boy.
well, i know what i'm watching with dinner. probably won't be the only one to mention it and maybe you nocticed but the younger brother is voiced by the same actor as eren.

I have not watched this show but I’m excited to watch it along with you !!
