This is what Morel meant by amount of aura is not the end all be all of fights. If you think about it, Knuckle's power, if used properly has the potential to defeat any Nen user in the show but still remain constrained enough that it's not too over powered. Also, the mascot of his power is soooo cute. I also like the timer sound. I'm gonna find an APR plushy.

Knuckles ability is maybe my favourite Nen ability, period. The complicated yet simple genius of it, how it ties to his character, and how once it’s explained and you fully grasp the stakes of APR, the ever-growing number becomes a countdown (count-up?) for the current fight, adding further tension the longer it goes! Everything great about Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is everything that I love about Nen as a power system in general
The thing I love most about Knuckles ability is that its such a good representation of his personality. He developed a power that forces his opponent to have an honest fist fight, face-to-face, with him without either of them getting hurt and whoever wins in the end would've deserved it fair and square without any dirty play

It's not too important going forward but Knuckle said that Gon's "Rock" takes up 2000 of Gon's total aura. Due to his emitter abilities being far less refined than his enhancer ones, his "paper" shot took 4000 aura to fire, yet only had an effective power of 500 aura as it was really inefficient. Absolute favourite thing about nen as a power system is just how much characterisation it manages to cram in just by knowing someone's ability. Knuckle's said already he's not keen on eradicating the ants without trying to understand them first, and his ability literally makes it so neither him nor his opponents take any physical damage from each other as long as the conditions are met.
Knuckle was absolutely stalling for time to get more ticks of interest in. Also, I've always wondered if Shoot got his ability before or after he lost his arm. He might be one of the few characters in the show that could be considered physically disabled and comparable to a Paralympic athlete in that regard.
Honestly I had a theory that Shoots missing arm was a Nen contract of sorts. He gains two extra hands but loses his arm from shoulder to wrist or something along those lines. Could be he lost the arm naturally though… if there is a natural way to lose an arm lol

I didn't put it together my first time through, but Knuckle basically made such a convoluted ability so he could fight without hurting or killing. He's the best
Knuckle's ability SOUNDS complicated, but it's actually really simple. He puts some of his aura inside his opponent and charges interest, like with a bank loan, every 10 seconds. If you hit Knuckle, you repay some of the aura he lent you. If at any time, you owe Knuckle more aura than you have in your body, you go "Bankrupt" and your nen is sealed away.
The less talked about part is that both Knuckle and his opponent are impervious to hurting one another unless the debt is settled/overtaken. (Nvm literally everyone else here brought that up LMAO)
I remember watching H x H while it was airing 10 years ago and not being able to wait for the new episode (but had no choice). And now, even though I know exactly what happens in each episode, I can't wait for your reactions because they are genuine and you are 100% into it and makes re-watching (for the 5th time) the show fun

Nope, you are right Milena. Nothing much happened this episode besides now that we learned the abilities of Shoot and Knuckle but that’s it lol. And that the King is coming but again that’s my issue with this arc.. slow pace ~~~ pls don’t jump me HxH fanboys, is just my opinion ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
