I've never seen Black Sails, but I'm glad ya'll are reacting to it! Might have to start up myself, given the overwhelming word of mouth...
Does anyone know what the schedule will probably be for this? If its following The Wires or anything or if they have said if itll be just once a week or anything. Really cant wait to experience this journey again along with you two馃檹
Twice a week, same as The Wire
Okay, watching this reminded me of a very specific line I need to highlight. When Captain Hume comes to arrest Richard Guthrie, he says this: "Gossip is what holds civilization together. It reinforces shame." I can't go into it now, but while this seems like a small moment...there's something in this sentiment that vitally ties into themes that the show explores. If you know, you know.
Know no shame 馃槴
Please watch andor

I CANT BELIEVE WERE GETTING A REACTION YALL ARE GONNA LOVE IT
HOLY SHIT BLACK SAILS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SHOW
Gonna dive into the full reaction to see if I can make a record for comments posted about a single episode of a show lol.
You should check out Jan <3. She鈥檚 just started S3 on her patreon. Watching her become a ride or die for Flint has been amazing. And she appreciates Max more than any other reactor that I鈥檝e watched.
Nice surprise, this show is good but it kinda drags at parts.
Just a tad in this first season! only 7 episodes though! Then there's no brakes
Disappointed it isn't For All Mankind but the Black Sails fans have been waiting so long for this so I'm happy for them. Hopefully this increases the chances of For All Mankind in future.
Oh hell yes! You girls are gonna love this show!
wow, finally! this is a great show. In this show there are some real historical characters, and historical events but it also mixes in characters and events from Robert Louis Stevenson's novel 'Treasure Island'.
Well I had been going to watch the Violet Evergarden reaction, but this takes precedent for me lol. Really can't express how happy I am that this is happening.
Oh boy
