Gon is my favorite hxh character I don’t think he’s nobody’s favorite. His character arc is written so well
Gon is a high functioning psychopath who only cares about what he wants, but because they have been positive things so far, nobody notices.
H x H is just getting started
So much incredible story left!
next arc can’t come fast enough yet it’s so close. withering adolescence.
I’m a bit too excited to see your thoughts on certain characters in the future episodes but in the meantime BUNGEE GUM POSSESSES THE PROPERTIES OF BOTH RUBBER AND GUM
Watching hunter hunter for the first time Killua is everyone’s favorite character lol , it’s kinda like how can you not like him he’s perfect.
I love Gon because Gon does everything in his power to protect the ones he love no matter what the circumstances are. Selfish is Gon only flaw I could say in the heat of the moment but he stands up for whats right.
man the rest of the show is gonna be such a wild ride with you girls, I can't wait haha
Okay I've listened your comments and Lola convinced me
I appreciate you too dude, you are always nice and gentle. I agree, Luffy and Gon are similar, I prefer Luffy to Gon and HxH to One Piece for many reasons but they are both great
Gon has pushed himself until he passed out, he is the furthest from selfishness. Moreover, it's actually selfishness if he removed Kilua from the fight and continued risking his limits alone. This arc especially shows us the competitive nature between Gon and Kilua, so, the real harm to Kilua is to remove him from the court because of his hands, this will hurt him psychologically more than any physical pain.
Gon is a selfish character. It’s a recurring theme throughout the entire story. He always wants to do things his way. Togashi always writes his main characters with pretty apparent flaws, that’s what makes them good. He pretty much walks over Killua during their entire friendship because he knows he can get away with it. It’s why their story ends the way it does.
About Attack on Titan don't worry, the 4 of November its THE END! The additional thing thats coming it's an artbook and like a one shot of some character but that doesn't have anything to do with the main story! don't worry!
It’s interesting listening to yous talking about worrying about Gon and Killua’s relationship from the whole hand thing. When I watched i didn’t think it was a big deal at all and I felt that the point of it was to show how much Gon respects killua and believes he’s the only one who could handle this
Really good episode but did you know that bungee gum contains the properties of both rubber and gum?
Physical pain is transitory, the emotions that come with it matter and last and in this case they are positive, that's why I disagree with you focusing that much on Killua's hands. He chose by himself to not protect them with Nen to get the victory. In my opinion Gon did the right choice, you can tell it from Killua's reaction when Tsezguerra proposed to replace him...instead of hurting him by accepting it Gon gave him a moment of pure happiness
I hear you but do you think Killua has a good understanding of healthy relationships? Gon is his first and best friend and the person who has been kindest to him in life, he would absolutely lay down his life for him if it came down to it. So if that happened, should Gon let him? After all, it's what he wants. Obviously the situation is not to the same degree at all, but you could use the justification you provide to justify actual abuse where the victim makes justifications for their abuser, who they truly love. Sorry for saying justify so much lol, I can't think of how else to say that.
I remember how shocked you and all of us were to see Hisoka in the intro and it looked like he was teaming up with the boys. Glad how it worked out and that final play to fully defeat Razor was a beautiful Hisoka moment. He just wanted to have fun with Gon and Killua. I think we can all relate to that.
I've been rewatching Haikyuu recently, and man I forgot how awesome that show is. So many great characters and dynamics between them. Super wholesome too. And the girls love sports (big fans of tennis as I recall). The matches in that show are so well done. Hopefully more people recommend and vote for Haikyuu in the future.
I would be very surprised if Haikyuu is not the show that replaces HxH.
Fun Fact! Bungee gum possesses the properties of both rubber and gum. Who knew!
Wait. Are you all saying that bungee gum has the properties of both rubber AND gum?
LM Reactions does not disappoint by picking up on a lot of things in HxH. Razor calling Gon a monster is honestly a critical line for me, especially in light with some of his behavior the last few episodes. I really love that this anime doesn't glorify the shounen character trait of never giving up no matter the risks or the potential costs. It's in fact critical of it and I love Tsezguerra calling him out on it. Its such good writing to have that moment. I've said it before but one of the greatest strengths of HxH is how it twists and subverts a lot of shounen tropes and story elements in a way that feels earned and smart. Its a show/manga that initially feels deeply shounen and almost stereotypically so. Until it starts to systemically tear it down.
Love how Gon has 0 issue apologising when he realises he's in the wrong. He did it with the Zoldyk door man back in 22 and does it here as well. Lesser shows often have their selfish characters being prideful as well, and while Gon definitely has some pride it never gets in the way of his main personality trait, which is his unwavering kindness.
Yup, Gon is such a great MC man, love him
Thank god Hisoka is here to remind us bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum, I almost forgot
Ohh regarding AoT. The one coming out on November 4. I will asume they are adapting the ending we got before the announcement of the new pages Isayama is going to add. Those 18 pages are new material or at least that’s what they are saying so I don’t think those pages will be adapted into the anime..now I won’t say anything else for the sake of spoilers but once you guys get to the ending then we can start deducing what those new pages could be.
Bombers, not my favorite but I appreciate what they help put into perspective. They're an excellent tool for the building narrative. Razor is just fun, with a nice wholesome moment at the end who's much more relatable. Dodgeball is also especially relatable, I imagine. Other than that, I'm really interested to see who'll they'll latch on to in the future. I didn't fully appreciate some characters until I rewatched the show a couple times. I was too focused on one character that I missed what was happening with another, when I really I needed to stand back from that character to get the bigger picture.
I agree, Bombers are my least favorite arc villains in the anime. They're not bad, just pale in comparison. And I actually really like Greed Island arc and think it's an arc that's super critical in both how it elevates the power levels of Gon/Killua but also gives a lot of insight into their personalities and motivations. And as you said, what the Bombers ultimately do is put a number of things into perspective. They're narratively important for Gon/Killua, they're just not as compelling as say the Troupe or what's to come. And I find them to be a little too mustache twirling evil for a show with a lot of highly complicated villains. In another anime, the Bombers could probably stand out.
I know it’s hard to admit this girls but Hisoka was the MVP of this episode lol
That last play was so good. I love how he considered Gon's feelings and knew he wanted a total victory so Hisoka oblidged him. Hisoka is like a weird fucked up older brother to the boys (Which kinda explains his relationship with you know who as well)
BUNGEE GUM POSSESSES THE PROPERTIES OF BOTH RUBBER AND GUM
thats the best thumbnail ever lol
