I just love this arc so much, the friendship between gon, killua and bisky is just so sweet 🫶🏻 oh and from now, I’ll call you mina haha
"Fuckin' Johnny Bravo wannabe" ...looool
I've always wanted to know how to pronounce that name (your sister's)! Dušica - I heard it and then was like that name seems like it would be a common Serbian one - oh yeah it's that one! Thanks for that. Also very nice to meet you, Mina. Fwiw, Milena is not that hard even for English speakers. I work with a few Milenas and thanks to you girls also can say it better :)
Gon and Killua are both voiced by women in their 30s. They are both huge fans of our boys! Also fun fact the actress that plays Mito is the mother of the one that plays Gon.
Yup, same for Kurapika and also Armin, both voiced by female voice actresses
I love that scene of Genthru brutally blowing the shit out of everyone after giving hope to the people that they could survive, it shows how disgusting and manipulator he is.
"Killua learned Leorio and Kurapika's names!" "Yeah but it took him like 7 weeks" You're the one to talk 😅
Your older sisters nickname was Lola, so your parents just named you Lola? Why would they do that? Do they still call your sister Lola? Do you have more sisters? Are they named Lola? How is Lola a nickname for Duoshitsa? You explained your name and I went from having zero questions to several.
they had no better idea. they dont call her lola. i dont. maybe they would be. lola is a nickname for all the names, it doesnt make sense. hope this helps 😂
Came for the reaction but got LM reaction lore instead
I love these little pieces of lore that we get from both of you. Still doesn’t make up for the fact they never gave us our Q&A video but it’s something :P
The origin of Gon's name is actually really interesting, in the original Japanese publishing of the first chapter his name is derived from the phrase " 父は去った " which was never included in English translation but roughly means 'My Dad is Gone"; a very deep meaningful phrase that's fitting for Gon's character; Togashi is a genius. Killua is just Killer.
I dunno if that's actually the origin of Gon's name. I've read all kinds of origins. And the fact that it only works in English doesn't make sense cause it's written for a Japanese audience. Whenever they do a play on words, they usually play with the different Kanji readings. Here's one that makes more sense. Gon's bday is May 5th. Which is Children’s Day. One Children’s Day tradition is to display dolls of Kintaro, a figure from Japanese folklore. Kintaro is a boy with superhuman strength who was raised by his mother alone on a mountain and so grew up in the wilderness making friends with and learning to speak to animals. Sound familiar? Kintaro in kanji is 金太郎, often translated as “Golden Boy”, with the 金 kin meaning gold. Kanji typically have a few ways of being read and another of 金’s readings is "gon."
You are literally a goddess! 🙏🏾
woooooo
Tell us that your names were not fake is exactly what a people with fake names will do
My name is not Robert at all :( Okay, it's my name, but would be kind of funny if it wasn't. I could maybe use my middle name more often. This I actually only write down on documents and similar, be it bank accounts and stuff :D
I don't know about everyone else but I love listening to the origin stories of your lives that you often tell at the start of reactions 😅😅😅
Great timing! I'm getting on a bus soon, so 🍃 and LM is the perfect pregame.
Okay I don’t know which one of them edited this episode but family in the mountains? Someone’s part of the Zoldyck family
My nen ability is I can make the zoldyck theme play in the mind of whoever reads this comment
