The Bear 2x02 Reaction

just finished the video and hsjak lola, did you have a cold or something because your voice sounded different on the first minutes and it really caught me off guard. the drinking story was really funny and the part where milena said "everyone got a d... well, i got an f" was very relatable. the painting this is probably them trying to get the "gotelé" out. at least that's how they call that painting here. the one that has texture and it's like dots or whatever. it's a bitch to get rid off. i've painted a few times but i'm far from an expert. anyway, my point still stands after rewatching this. molly gordon is gorgeous and if i was the camera person who had to film her during that scene at the grocery store i would have fallen in love immediately. also, for those who actually saw the bottoms trailer and want to watch it too here's a clip of molly and rachel in shiva baby that always cracks me up. (watch me trying you all to watch movies i like) https://twitter.com/girlieslovetay/status/1667018109058686978?t=CsDt2jZTPZoTtLaVLsuPlQ&s=19

Great ep, great reaction. Love how much you love the show and characters. It really does have this grounded realistic dialogue delivery, feels so much more realistic while still being funny and telling a story. Syd's line about being older than her mum is so heartbreaking. She can't be older than like 26, so her mum must have died really young. I enjoy the claire/carm meet cute, reminds me of going back to home town and bumping into an old ex / mutual crush. LOVE how much screentime Natalie is getting these eps, so interesting to have a level-headed project manager type involved in this absolute chaos. What else is there to say, it's just great telly. RE: carmy jeans oven, I know lots of people in tiny NYC apartments don't use their oven much and use it for storage space. it's comical to me seeing carmy's barely-decorated apartment, like outside of the restaurant context he's literally just some weird anxious guy whose only "hobby" is collecting vintage denim lmfao. my guy needs to buy a Nintendo Switch or something

that said, i still haven't watched the reaction... can't wait to hear that drinking story people are mentioning 😂

jeremy allen white is stronger than me because if i was i that set i'd fall to my knees and ask her to marry me. no, but really, my crush with molly gordon is very real lol many people didn't like her character from the moment she appeared because they see her as "competition", you know, since a great majority ship carmy and sydney. but idk if it's just me being biased becaise i already love the actress but i thought she was super sweet. anyway, here's me promoting yet another movie with ayo in it. this one is a movie directed and starred by molly herself. as a musical nerd this is right up my alley too lol https://youtu.be/puVDIUk0kM8?si=O9PfS1etvTN_q-mp

i always found it sweet that a chunk of the budget is just dedicated to training and taking care of the core staff like tina, ebraheim, marcus etc. especially since carmy, syd and nat are forgoing payment on their end also love that a chunk of the review is just them reminiscing an old story 😭

The drinking story was wonderful hahaha. Thanks for sharing!

Paul Rudd who plays Phoebe's husband is very famous nowadays for being antman but he voices the arcade machine character inside ballbreaker that Fak talks to in season 1. The picture was more of an easter egg.
