Love how you guys said the best part of the show is that it has heart, and that it’s not about the battles-I completely agree! While the battles are fun when they come up, if that is the sole reason someone watches hxh, then I don’t think it’s something they can fully enjoy/appreciate. It’s the heart and the subversion of expectations that hxh really shines imo! Love hearing your guy’s thoughts, it’s always so insightful!
cuteness overload!!!
Love this arc, some great characters introduced to the show🔥
SO many!
Honestly, I loved watching hxh by myself doing whatever I liked. I loved hxh even though I watched all the intros, got spoiled a bit, etc. I don't think it's necessary to micro-manage everything they do. The things they know and are expecting won't take away much from the story. And if it does, it'll take away just the tiniest bit from the experience. I feel like if I were making these videos for my community, I would rather see comments about the video itself rather than what I should/shouldn't do. Commenting about what they or other people should do is pointless (yes I am aware of the irony lol) as people aren't the same as everyone else and are prone to do whatever they want. I love how everyone wants the best experience for them, but part of the experience is also the comments. If someone spoils something major, you can berate them in the REPLIES. But comments in general I feel should be about the video.
Who tf is telling them Chimera is the next arc??
Just look at the comments above and you'll see who's throwing hints
Im proud you called Feitan by his name and not Levi
In the Chimera Ant arc you will meet the best antagonist of anime history
My Least favorite arc is Heaven's arena. then Killua's house. Greed Island comes third. its a lot of info dump and nen lore so some ppl sleep through it cause there is not many fights
(kind of spoilery I guess) 46:19 to 46:44 ahahhhhhhhhhhh. Anyways, interesting post-ep discussion !
You should forget about Chimera arc, you are not supposed to know about it and Greed Island arc is amazing
They talk to their friends who watch this show too. They've said things I didn't see comments about so I assume a friend might have spoiled them.
I know HxH fans who think Greed Island is the best arc in the show, people tend to repeat popular opinions that you can find in forums or yt comment sections but they don't represent the objective truth, specially with HxH
Just because an opinion is popular doesn't mean the people saying it are braindead. Such a lame way to dismiss an opinion you don't like.
If you want to know Kurapika's backstory, you can read a sidestory created by the manga author. You can read it online, and it doesn't spoil the anime at all. Be warned: You probably won't think fondly of the spiders after though
Killua shocking himself with a stun gun must be pretty mild for him considering he could withstand 1.000.000 volts from Riehlvelt in heavens arena
All of the comments talking about anything related to upcoming arcs.... (ca).... is really affecting how the girls are looking at each little thing in anticipation for such upcoming events they otherwise should have absolutely NO knowledge about right now. Stop talking about it in the comments and let them focus on what is occurring now, not later.
I'm glad to hear the stress of your multiple vacations is over.
I don't know. Some times the final arc (I won't say its name) competes in my heart against the Chimera arc for which is better.
One of the best parts about the arc you're talking about is the pacing, especially after CA.
Just to clarify, Chimera Ants arc has it's own intro and 2 endings it's the longest arc in the whole show!
I wish there was less talk (in the reviews and here in this chat) about upcoming arcs, it is very spoilery and takes away from the current storyline.
Definitely agree. Wish people would let them enjoy the arc rn bc then it set expectations for them to think they have to react a certain way for future arcs instead of organically loving an arc
Their reaction to Hisoka in the intro is so funny
A chimera is a hybrid between two creatures. A good google definition I got was an organism containing a mixture of genetically different tissues, formed by processes such as fusion of early embryos, grafting, or mutation:
A chimera made up of Dog and a Human child would be a good example 🙃
What an unexpected surprise!
I don’t know why this is so controversial. Every opening of hunter x hunter until this point doesn’t have any significant spoilers. However, the next opening will absolutely spoil and change expectations for a VERY a important part of that arc. Part of the importance of that anxiety/ anticipation will be GONE if they see the opening. So I think they should definitely skip the opening up until a certain episode, then they can watch it. That being said, I won’t be too upset if they end up watching it. But I would love it if they don’t.
They literally spoil characters not in the story yet but ok
Lets go. Excited for the additional character coming with this arc
Yeah, I knew they would dig the vibe immediately. LM will have lots of fun on that front
I wanted to mention this now since I won’t have many chances where it’s relevant anymore, and I want to get it off my chest. Kurapika’s story is only beginning. He has so much more love to show, bonds to make, kindness to share, but also tragedy to unveil and self-destruction to commit. He values his own life so little. His suffering is nothing in front of his loved ones, he says. He is prepared to obliterate himself in ways you will be shocked to learn, as if he’s punishing himself for even living when his loved ones could not. Survivor’s guilt consumes him. I don’t believe he thinks he should be alive, not after I’ve seen how he treats himself in the manga. Yet Kurapika never fails to give me reason to beam with pride. He is so adamant that the only one that should be suffering for his clan is HIM. And suffer he does…. always. His burden is infinite, as heavy as can be. Kurapika is beautiful inside despite it, he cares so much for people in ways you haven’t even seen yet. Such inconceivable pain and emptiness couldn’t have happened to anyone less deserving of it than his gentle soul. Thank you for reminding me why I love Kurapika with your reactions, and I promise you there is so much more to his story. But it is VERY bittersweet. There is a very real chance his story may never conclude as well, since Togashi is sick. So yeah, just bittersweetness all around. Last thing I’ll leave with is his divine character song. It captures him beautifully: https://youtu.be/M7rbonFFw3Y?si=biBV-v1W6hacQ-0o
I love the fact that they didn't get enough time with Kurapika - when you think about it, he's been around for the better part of 40-50+ episodes, but it's still not enough - that's when you realise that 148 episodes total is not the crazy amount of episodes it seems like at first - can't wait for what's ahead :)
its a christmas miracle!
Your joy and excitement and questions while watching the OP is totally the point of an OP and I really don't get people that think watching it "spoils" the experience. Not watching OPs is just missing out. (Not that I think you have to watch the OP before every episode of a recording session.)
There is certainly a balance. This opening doesn't spoil anything. The chimera ant opening ABSOLUTELY spoils the first quarter of that arc.
I love hunter hunter
That thumbnail is going into the hall of fame
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one! :P
just 2 goats coexisting. Thank yall
Early hxh lets goooo
