The song at the beginning is Chicago by Sufjan Stevens. The album Illinoise (which contains the song) is a great listen too.

Ya I had the same reaction. This episode left in awe. Up to this point I thought HxH was A tier already. But man there are so many levels to this.

There is something so poetic in doing a requiem this way. A way that represent so much Uvogin: loud and chaotic. The bond is so strong that all members do their part to say goodbye to their loved partner.
Togashi once again showed how to write a story and especially how to write characters
