You're going to hate how well the troupe is written. Depending on whether you think the troupe is small or large, why do you think the spider Hisoka has is marked with a "4", and how do you think he got it if his goal is to hunt the troupe?

Same schedule as last week? Hope you two are doing fine

One thing I can advise is to really understand Nen for a simple reason. TOGASHI LOVES to out in his show EVERYTHING he likes and strategy in battle is one of those. If you understand all he puts in (mostly for a "selfish authorial porpoise") the journey will be amazing cuz most of the things he adds in HxH, can be skipped but they give a totally new filter to the whole show. This fight was used as a clear example of how HxH will be. TOGASHI made it clear that he will sacrifice raw power and fancy move to give space to strategy and creativity. Mastro lost cuz his ability was basically shit since creating a double when you are weak doesn't change anything. He should have also worked with the basics of Ben and if he learnt to use Ben on his eyes he could figure out hisoka's game.

Lola saying "what?!" 4 times at the end of this episode was everything. Can't wait to see you react to the rest of this arc. Lots of excitement to come.

And we finally break into the best arc imo love the troupe, they are villains but great characters

I always like healing abilities, so I really like the pink haired girl too. It shows that Nen isn’t just for fighting/destruction too

I love how excited they got for such a small announcement of the Phantom Troupe. They are in for a treat in the next arc

One thing to talk about on this show is the fact that things usually don't go the way we espect, and I love it so much

I like the way Milena says "cool" when Hisoka is getting fixed, it's very cool indeed

I am not sure, but is this the shirt Lola is talking about in this video? https://pixelplugstore.com/products/hxh01 I googled Gon killua white shirt and went to images. From description of lola Methinks this is the one. It has closest resemblance.

The best part about getting lengthy explanations like this one now is so that we can get a great idea of the kind of things Nen can do. Hisoka and the currently unnamed Phantom Troupe woman have such interesting and widely applicable abilities. Both are great examples of the possibilities of Nen.

The scene when Machi (the pink hair girl) talks about Hisoka personality is so underrated for me. When she says things like "He doesn't associate with others" and "He has no interest in the past", she means that Hisoka doesn't give a fuck about anything but fighting and winning, he doesn't attach to anyone. She's saying he's a chaotic psychopath, a joker who only cares about himself and his desires, because in his narcissistic way of seeing things, he's the best, the strongest. A perfect and accurate description of Hisoka. SPOILER ALERT: I personally like to think this scene is also a subtle way for the author to say that Hisoka's past is not interesting for the show, there's not a turning point when he becomes a joker, he's just like that and that's it, but that's just my opinion.

You 2 are going to love the Phantom Troupe arc. Can't wait for it!
