It's interesting going back through the Hunter exam arc and seeing examples of Nen before they'd introduced it. Hisoka's cards are the obvious one but Netero also clearly used Ten when Gon was bashing his head into his stomach. Was definitely a good move on Togashi's part not bombarding you with exposition from the start, and keeping that sense of mystery around what people are capable of.
Also when he jumped out of a blimp and fell out of the sky...
The best part about Nen is that it's very personal. People don't just have powers to have powers. When you see someone using Nen, you know that they chose to develop it for a reason, and it's usually personalized to each person. Gido (the Spinning Top guy) is the first good example that was pointed out by Wing.
They briefly showed during the Zetsu explanation, but Gon mastered Zetsu when he was tracking Hisoka during Phase 4. He just didn't realize he was using it!
He also grew up with animals, and I think that's why he's got these strong animal instincts and developed senses.

i know lola has seen them and milena isnt that bothered but i think they would have a great time watching lotr together (and I would sell my soul for it haha)
