Oh boy, the Wire. IMO the absolute GOAT. A show that can be (and has been) taught in writing courses, political courses and economic courses. Can't wait to see you both go through that roller coaster!
Can you imagine if the girls watched The Sopranos after this? I'm pretty sure they'd be the only channel to have watched the holy trinity of God-tier TV for the first time, along with The Wire and Breaking Bad. And they'd be the best channel to react to it too!
And Deadwood after that. Let's just go through the top tier TV that is 21st century HBO programming.

The Wire! Yes!!!!! I'm in the middle of like my 10th rewatch of the show. I have a feeling the after-episode discussions will be lengthy on these, because the show throws lots of information at you in the first few episodes. But this is a show that rewards your patience. To quote one of my favorite characters from the show: "All the pieces matter."
