fyi, low tear patreon got episode 20 but not 19 available even now, i've seen episode 19 on youtube and glad i could continue to 20 tho...

First time watching this show and it's shocking to me how good it is. Really quality episodes these last few. Ever since they captured Canute it's been 10/10s every episode.

last night i watched both this and the me robot reaction and let me tell you that i've had enough of seeing people peeing. they really didn't need to show the fucking stream 💀 i agree with milena ngl, i always loved the scene of canute realising what love is or isn't and i've always enjoyed a religious character struggling with their beliefs, but yes, seeing canute like this always makes me a bit sad. yes, it's great to see him having the bravery to face his father and even mock him, but he shouldn't have to and it's sad that he lost his innocence when ragnar died. yes, he was immature but he was a child and he deserved to keep that innocence intact. but i also understand that being from the royal family meant that the only options were that he changed like he did or die.

The consistency of quality of the episodes from episode 14 to 24 is unreal. It is phenomenal (not to say any episode before 14 is bad they’re all great).

the opening for season 2 and even the ending is completely fine to watch there are no spoiler at all

I feel like watching the opening after ep1 is the best option since there is a reveal in the episode that won't be as impactful if you've seen the opening.

I didn't think much of it at the time, but watching again and hearing you two talk about it, Thorfinn being the only one to realize Askeladd is angry reminds me of when he was the only one to realize Thors was angry (when Floki was talking to him in Iceland).

The reason we don't see the kings eyes in previous scenes is because the crown is highlighted instead of his face. It's because he is just "the will of the crown" instead of a person.

i have a list of my top 100 individual anime episodes of all time haha thats funny, took so long to order them and everything, not naming the specifics but some in my top 10 include episodes from Attack on Titan, 86, Steins;Gate, Vinland Saga, Hunter x Hunter, Violet Evergarden, and that one amazing episode in Darling in the Franxx. was a fun list to make!

I would not worry about getting spoiled on the new intro, just go ahead and watch it when you get to season 2.
