So funny that of all the twists in the show, the only spoiler you saw was a queer ship lmao. Iconic. Joey Badass is the actor who plays Leon, Elliot's new friend from home. Joey Badass is most known for being a quite popular rapper (hence the name), so was a surprise to see him pop up in Mr Robot.
to be fair when your social media has a lot of gay content is not that uncommon. i've watch many shows because i knew there's was a lesbian relationship in it. for example i started person or interest just because i knew about the couple and i honestly almost dropped it because s1 was boring af but i continued it and honestly one of the best decisions of my life. it's one of my favourite shows ever made with sadly a boring first season. many episodes are perfection. 4x11 if-then-else is probably my favourite episode of television, i think even people who haven't watched the show can watch it appreciate it and enjoy it. anyway, all this to say that it's not uncommon to hear about a ship when you follow many accounts that tweet about gay things. my twitter is the gayest shit lol

her twitter is gay jfhkjahfkash same. sometimes i'm suprised when i see something straight in my timeline. well, that's a spoiler i'm not mad to hear about. but it was hilarious, you were like, i know a spoiler and i'm not going to say anything... literally 30 seconds later. lola screaming "enemies to lovers" bings me back to arcane when she literally had a whole story planned before cait and vi even had an exchange of words. gideon dies and they just talk spend the first 5 minutes of the discussion talking aabout the gay stuff lol that's how i know i pay for good content. i need to watch something light hearted to balance this out. maybe a disney movie or a sitcom episode. i was going to watch a band of brothers episode but yeah, that's not happening now.

wtf? wtf? wtf? wtf?... no really, what the fuck did i just watch? first of all, fuck everyone for killing off all the "good and innocents". really gives you a sense of what's to come i guess. i really liked gideon and i think he was a wonderful person and didn't deserve what happened to him (i guess having some hope about him being somehow alive it's pointless). i draw my line there, that's all the deaths i can accept for now. they better not touch one hair on darlene's head. i watched the newsroom ages ago, had no idea she was meryl's daughter, i was actually listening to mamma mia's soundtrack on my way home lol btw, that scene of elliot laughing may be the creepiest thing i've watched in my life. anyway, going to watch the discussion now. i was going to make a joke about doug judy being on this episode but now it seems soulless to do it 😭
Small last comment, but hey I did an ok job at condensing the previous ones I really like the shot of the line space in between Elliot's two journal tries. The close-up of the page is already aesthetically pleasing to me because of the handwriting and paper texture but there's something so chilling about the visualization of lost time from when Mr Robot took over

"It feels like we're in a constant state of a dream, but it's reality" S2 in a nutshell and why it was my favorite for so long. The blending of surrealism and realism to create a perpetually unique tone. The soul-crushingly realistic consequences from what happened in the finale combined with the fantastical existentialism that it makes everyone think about.

- The politics scenes are important in establishing the state of the world in the background while our characters try to deal with the situation at hand - Will let you figure out what Five/Nine refers to, but it's the reason fsociety chose 5.9 million as the amount, rather than the other way around - Lol you noticed the QR code thing. It's a lot deeper than just linking to a website, and there's tonnes of easter eggs I wanted to allude to in a 2x1 comment but scrapped it. This way it leaves a lot for you to revisit in the future when you do a rewatch. The weekly episode releases and trailer dissections essentially became full on treasure hunts with the amount of hints there was, haha - Not gonna lie, I feel like your idea of them forcing the money to be given to the public with an fsociety mask is a better idea XD. At least have him wear some sort of Evil Corp costume if you're gonna make him burn it - And lastly, the serotonin I get when Milena says Mr Robut at the beginning of every reaction XD
Yeah I kinda mentioned it a few hours ago commenting on the episode 1 discussion as well. So yes to LM, at the time QR codes and ALL IP addresses lead to specific sites that gave some additional backstory as tom said but if you go there now I think you're going to be shown the summation of ALL the clues that were given from this point on until the show ended. So definitely a rewatch item at this point, we don't want you to stumble on something you shouldn't see yet. 😁
Yeahhhh Gideon's death is basically the first real example of collateral damage from the hack. Guy took the fall and a radicalized man decided to take "justice" into his own hands. It sucks and shows how the show is committed to a pretty...banal look at the world. Sometimes people just die
Tbh this is a bit of a spoiler, that isn't revealed to later in the series. The death of Gideon causes an underlining plot to develop within specific characters, they don't know why he was killed - so probably it's worth deleting your comment imo...
