more lighthearted anime, also def worth ur time; haikyuu ;)
Hey L+M, Since you guys have so many heavy shows and don't seem to happy about that... Why don't you react to something lighter and more fun? There are animated options like Owl House or The Dragon Prince worth checking out. The Dragon Prince is produced by the same guys that did Avatar and has a few of the same voice actors as well. Just something different to the usual heavy show recs.
I loved the first three seasons of the Dragon Price but I admit I couldn't pass the first episode of the new season. Really sad about that. I've heard many people recommending Owl House, I may have to check it out at some point.
Just call him Ashlad.
loved this episode, i think the director adapted it perfectly
please watch hunter x hunter to stop all this depression lol
Too long and there is a whole Arc that is boring as Heck, yo lol Its a great show just most of us don't want to sit through 70 weeks of reactions to get to another show
Orr Malus sad pathetic little clown
Haha why entertain his silliness? I'm actually enjoying his comments.
Top three Seinen manga for a reason! You guys will love this show for sure
And Askeladd is pronounced ASK-GAA-LADD not ASKGUL lol
The predictions have started flying in, folks, and this ain't no Mob Psycho. The ladies demonstrate their wealth of intellect and judgment of characters, proving once more how quick on their feet they truly are. Will their powers work once more??? Tune in next week, folks, to find out!
What actually happens
Kid Thorfinn VA was absolute on POINT with the screaming. First time watching it was honestly shocked and then gave me a sense on how this show is gonna really be like.
I tried watching this anime a long time ago and dropped it after the first episode. Judging by the comments and the thumbnail, something awful is brewing here and I’m glad I dodged it lol. Anyway I’ll be back for haikyuu and hxh when you guys get to them ✌️
Clown
More so than titles like True Warrior or The Attack Titan, the name of the 24th episode of this show gave me chills and goosebumps unlike anything I've ever felt. Never have four words excited me as much as that title.
I feel like a fucking sadist right now. Like, the music was enough to engross me in the scene when Thors died even though I already knew what was going to happen, but then I remembered the screaming at the end of the episode that was coming up, and I got this big stupid smile on my face that can't be a healthy sign of sanity.
Its is a viking show, so expect more cruelty than normal. Thats their culture afterall
His name refers to being a child of ash so his name is pronounced "as-kuh-lad" or "ashe-lad". Easier to remember
I mean... why not just let the show explain it lmao
I'm looking forward to the next episodes. These will hurt. A lot.
I think it's fun to get them excited about cool animation or action scenes, but I think their reactions are better for the sad moments if they don't have any preparation.
Maybe you guys shouldn't have brought Band of Brothers and Mr. Robot to your Live-Action watch LMAO. You guys want the sad shows if you brought those shows to the schedule lol. If you brought a happy show or not so sad, shows like Scrubs, The Sandman, or The Office you wouldn't be so depressed 😂🤷🏽♂️
This show, to me, is gonna give you an experience much closer to the AOT experience rather than the FMAB experience - it isn't wholesome like Fullmetal, but I don't think that reduces its worth in any way - as we see in AOT, sometimes the most gut-wrenching, upsetting stories are the most powerful and emotionally engaging - stick with this show 100% (but maybe drop to one episode a week if it's too depressing xD)
Probably shoulda snuck in a “happier” entry before this one tbh, and I say that as someone who adores this show. Though if you can look past the trauma, there’s some fantastic storytelling in this series
