This show hits a bit different watching it again (I only saw up to end of S2). All I can say is that it's still an 'uncomfortable' watch.
Oh boy are you in for a ride when we get to seasons 3 and 4
Just started watching along with you, really liking the show so far. I’d been hoping Black Sails would win the poll, but I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that it will win the next one.
Mr Robot into Black Sails is a blessed timeline lol As a fan of both, I hope you enjoy this show too :)
Lola I also mixed up Darlene and Shayla when I first watched the show / this episode for the first time. Similar hair type, makeup and voice. But they act very differently so I figured it out Also sorry for hogging the comments, guys. I finished the discussion so I'm done after this one XD Just really excited that they're enjoying this
same here dude, someone else was saying how this is their 3rd favorite show this one is actually my number 1 for what I imagine will be forever
The one who hacked the laptop was the same guy who sold that CD to them. But I think you have already figured this out by now. :)
Darlene's "can I borrow your clothes? my dress has cum stains on it" for some reason cracks me up every time
I like the community interaction but I'm worried about some asshole coming along in your comments to try and ruin the experience... Be careful guys. Also yeah, the guy watching Angela from her boyfriend's webcam is the one who gave them the CD. Remember there was a whole scene dedicated to showing it earlier in the ep
we figured it out during the beginning of episode 3, i don’t know why it took is so long 😂
Great discussion! What people call "split / multiple personality disorder" is more commonly known as "dissociative identity disorder" or DID in the medical community these days fyi
Yeah, I was gonna say that in the previous episode. People also used to mix it up with "borderline personality disorder" but there's more awareness of what that is these days
Vibe-wise, The Matrix and Fight Club definitely come to mind as inspirations I think. They have that whole existential, 'late stage capitalism' feeling to them and involve a blending of the mundane with the fantastical. Plus, lots of office ambience haha
Yess!
Yay
