I still hope that the next anime won't be a "teenager has superpowers" anime. Besides Lie in April, I can think of Violet Evergarden, Haikyuu, Erased, Odd Taxi, Spy x Family, Rainbow Nisha and Monster.

Talking about old man Fu's death i feel like you were searching for the words, maybe this can help. Old man Fu's death wasnt "neccesary" that makes it tragic, but if Lan Fan was in their spot and died THAT would have been "un-necessary"
Well, knowing that you've watched the whole show already (so sad we won't have fmab forever honestly) it's safe to say that as much as this episode ended in a cliffhanger it would have been worse if you watched another and had to stop in the next, so be grateful for small mercies i guess 😂 really, that picture you posted on twitter lives in my mind rent free even 4/5 years after finishing the show. everything about that picture is perfection. i know it's a stupid question and well get to see in a few weeks, but was the finale everything you hoped for or was it even better? *spoilers for the finale just in case someone hasn't watched it yet, though i highly doubt it i know you always thought hohenheim would ended up sacrificing himself but i believe what the author did was even better.

Wait they finished all of FMAB??!! If so, cant wait to see their lovely reactions man!!!!! Hopefully they can react to Chainsaw Man soon, but I know Vinland Saga is probably next which is an outstanding show! But Chainsaw Man dropped today and everyone is crazy over it. Shits trending like crazy and its crashing crunchyroll and other streaming platforms!!!

I found out today on Patreon that they watched the 5 final episodes (60 - 64) today. On Twitter they posted something about it. I am very curious how they reacted to the other cliffhangers and scenes. Episode 60 is the worst in my opinion, but they worked around it well with their last watch session. It would have been very amusing if they had watched until episode 60 and then had to wait until the next day for the next episode.
Waiting for a month between manga chapters was particularly torturous here toward the end. Saw that you guys finished the show on twitter. You can't ever experience this story for the first time again, but I can promise that rewatches are extremely rewarding. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your reactions. <3
I'm pretty glad I only had to wait for the Attack on Titan manga (and god was that bad waiting a month after each chapter). Fortunately, with every other story, I didn't get into the manga until the manga or even the anime was already finished. 😅
