I imagine Hohenheim to be ashamed of his happiness as well. All those souls inside him. I think it wasn't just fear of affecting his kids and wife as a living stone. I think every moment of joy and happiness he experienced was likely punctuated by profound guilt. Like eating in front of starving people
Bradley the absolute menace. This man trumps every homunculus without the ability to heal. Just pure savagery and fighting ability. His eye is just the cherry on top

Bradley is a monster. IIRC, the author has mentioned in interviews that if Bradley had been in his prime during the series instead of being like 60, the good side would have just straight up lost because no one would've been able to stop him.
You said in the reaction "no one can stand up to Bradley in a fight" and I thought about how excited you would be when Greed-Ling showed up, though youre right in how good Ling is, Bradley is better. That got me thinking about how Ling and Bradley mirror each other. Bradley is the ruler of Amestris and Ling is a prince trying to become the future ruler of Xing AND THEN I realised that they are both the ONLY HUMMUNCULI that were made by putting a philosopher stone into a person, and not just created directly from Father
Their numbers in the 'line of succession' as it were line up too, which is a really neat minor detail. Ling is the 12th Prince of Xing, and Bradley was the 12th Fuhrer candidate in the experiment.
There's a YouTuber who recently started a new series on the FMB series, basically explaining the real-world inspirations for the concepts and themes in this show. It focuses on the alchemy perspective, and explains it from a very objective point of view. I think you two would really enjoy these videos after finishing the show. You don't have to make reaction videos, but if you did, we could continue the conversations a little bit longer. It is important to say that you should watch the videos after the end. The videos address and show many aspects and scenes that were only clarified in the last episodes.

Just realised how the next episode ended... not a great spot to stop lol still not as bad as when you left on vacantion and the last aot episode you filmed was the reunion of Eren and Reiner but yeah I don’t envy you. You’re going to film more episodes before you leave or the next one is the last you watch until you come back? Hope two have a good flight and vacations.
Well, can’t really sleep so might as well just watch it and then try to sleep a bit. Fu, Buccaneer, Greed/Ling, Falman and the brigs soldiers vs Wrath is one of my favourite fights of this show. Can’t believe you’re so close to the end now. I’m going to be so sad once you finish it. Only good thing about you finishing it is that you’re starting Vinland Saga and I love it too, not nearly as much as FMAB but still and amazing anime. I was watching your last Mob reaction this afternoon and how you love the wholesomeness of the show and I think another anime that can give you that is Spy x Family, only has 13 episode so far if I’m not wrong, but yeah, you’ll be watching the show with heart eyes all the time.
