Holy shit here we go 🔥🔥🔥
Not gonna lie, I didn’t realise that was supposed to be Mordor until I saw a comment on twitter. I only watched the trilogy once and it was a few years ago. But yeah, this episode was amazing.
I love how that village was at the foot of Mount Doom the whole time and we didn't realise it until the final moments.
It's not canon, but I loved the way the ROP explained how Mordor became a treeless waste. That moment in episode 3 when Arondir chopped down the tree became much more significant. And the creation of Mount Doom was brilliant. I am actually afraid for the original characters -- Arondir, Bronwym, Theo and even Halbrand. Pyroclastic flows are lethal.
Welcome to Mordor where sun never shines ! That should be the name of next episode . Visually what an ending .
