Co-author/producer Ty Frank has said that some of his favorite scenes to write for the show are those in which Bobbie gets to "beat the crap" out of people, such as she did in the drug lab in this episode. 😀
Oh the ship from episode 1 that was shot at as it went through the ring was the belters who are now on the planet with Holden. So it wasn’t destroyed just managed to get away at the last second. They went through to claim the planet.

The original actor got a new acting job after the show was cancelled in Season 3, but before it got uncancelled by Amazon. Just bad timing. Honestly the Expanse was lucky they didn't lose any of the main cast the same way. This is also why Naomi cut her hair, the actress cut it after the show was cancelled. But that change actually works really well luckily -- it makes sense with the decisions Naomi makes in the last half of Season 3 with her character, and shows the passage of time.
