Does anyone have a copy of this episode?
18:54 Fun fact: That woman is named after Rana from the Normies. Apparently the writers watch the Normies and they met at a con.
Is the reaction coming at all?
The girls are often late but they will get round to it, I'm sure.
"he looks like he'll be a problem, maybe it's just the actor" I laughed so hard at this.
Where is The Boys guys 🙏🙏
They said they will fit it in whenever they can, so it might be a while
You'll notice the shots on Ilus are in super widescreen, while the shots on Earth are more typical framing.
The way the show changes the aspect ratio when we're on Illus/New Terra is a very good way to convey an "otherwordly" feeling
Yeah, revisiting S4 is great. Definitely feels like a Cinema experience. I love the shot of the Roci on descent. There are episodes in this season that are intense. And the events that parallel Ilus will make upcoming seasons impactful. S4 is very important. Forward we march!!!
I just find it so funny how we had the same reactions. Except yours were about Amos and mine about James :D
Amos calls Clarissa "Peaches" because she used the alias Melba. Peach Melba.
^^ I myself didn't understand that forever ^^
I agree with Dante cinematography is amazing in this season and it feels like western . This was the episode I started liking Clarissa and never looked back . Stop hating her in previous episode , but when Amos started calling her Peaches I was like if he likes her who am I to argue . Btw best guess why he calls her Peaches is dessert called Peach Melba ( Melba was false name she used ) at least that is popular theory among fans :)
This season has my favorite cinematography of the entire show. The authors of the books loosely based each book on a different subgenre. Book 1 was a detective-noir, book 2 a political thriller, book 3 cosmic horror, and book 4 Western. You can totally feel the influences of the Western genre in this season. This season is really underrated imo. Also, seasons and books are 1 for 1 from here on out.
My favourite "complete" season, only topped if you count the book 1 arc as a season of sorts. I love the return to/heavier emphasis on world-building that the new dynamic of this point in the story brings in. I know fast-and-furious Expanse is beloved by many, by the slower simmer of book 1 arc/season 4 is the most special part for me.
