Ah, it's a shame Stein is winning. It's so awkward, outdated when it comes to women characters, the time element doesn't make any sense and maybe the most boring anime I had to sit through. It'll forever confuse me how it's so popular. Is it because of the forced relationship, do people find that cute or something?

Steins;Gate has pulled through leading ahead of Mob. A pleasant surprise because I see it as the underdog compared to the relatively more recent and mainstream Mob Psycho. I'm going to go asleep content now. Yep, it's not like the lead will flip again and I'll wake to disappointment (lol).

To your eternity made me cry very easily but gets kinda predictable (still hurts though), and Steins gate was one of my first ever anime so I just love it so much. Probably for all the wrong reasons. It gave me the same hopeless hero vibes as Re Zero. Very cool.

I don't understand how people think mob psycho is a typical shonen anime. If anything, it is the anti-shonen. The powers are the least interesting part of the show

Lol, I'm throwing Monogatari out there simply because of the backlash I'll receive. Never seen anyone even consider reacting to it, but its structure is so nonuniform I think it would pose the best conversations. It's sexual, but not without purpose. Every girl has a different theme and message that is portrayed through their sexualization, and I think it says a lot about those who watch it and those who can't understand the message behind it.

Yeah, I think Mob Psycho 100 is a great choice. It is wholesome, funny and emotionally poignant. I have never related to a character more than I do Mob. The show also has a great dub! I hope you won't mind prompting another poll to chose sub or dub cause it's my favorite dub of any show.

Monster is the best in this list

My personal opinion is that all 5 of these shows are better in Sub, but the only one worth a discussion is Steins;Gate. Much like FMAB, Steins;Gate has one of the best English Dubs of a major anime of all time in my personal opinion, I think the biggest reason being that the translator who worked on the script and directed the cast is the same guy who plays the lead character Okabe. He brought a lot of love and passion for the game to his script and it's a really really good translation. The issue is though that I think the Japanese performance is perhaps straight up one of the best ensemble performances in all of anime lmao, particularly from Mamoru Miyano (again, as the lead) and Kana Hanazawa. If you're going for straight 'which is the better quality' then it's still the sub in my opinion, but the dub is rock solid and doesn't detract from the quality of the show.

Have y’all heard of the show called Severance? it’s not anime but it’s 1 short season and I think y’all would love the story and characters

All of these are great shows. If you end up with steins;gate you should consider the dubbed version. It's hilarious and the mc has the best English voice actor of all

Steins;Gate is absolutely epic and fun, emotional and funny, it has it all and more.

Code Geass has one of the best endings in anime in my opinion. It's such a great show. Side note: it has a phenomenal English dub in my opinion.

I adore steins;gate, it's one of my favorites, but I acknowledge it can be a slow burn. Mob Psycho is just fantastic out the gate, and hilarious.

Voted Mob because it's amazing but I have to shout out how incredible you'll potentially find the suspense of Monster, It is mentally outstanding. I love it, and understand the enthusiasm for Steins but wonder about it as a reaction.

Code Geass is phenomenal! Hopefully though one day Hunter X Hunter will be in the running.

Mob Psycho is a slice of life above all else, learning to accept who you are. That’s why I love it. I only started watching it because of One Punch Man, but I was surprised by its genuine depth in a sea of amazing anime. It’s the pacing that’s most impressive, even more than it’s animation. Short anime that get to the point have always had a deeper impact on me than long hauls, but there are exceptions of course: Gintama, One Piece, and of course FMAB. What’s your favorite short anime?

If you thought Death Note was sexualizing its female characters, you might want to stay away from Code Geass lol

I voted for mob because it's my favorite, but the vibe is pretty similar to FMA (action, some comedy, wholesome sibling/mentor relationships). So maybe you won't want to watch them at the same time? If you want to mix things up, Steins Gate is great too and is very different than anything else. Can't go wrong either way, though.

Monster was so nice to see on the poll, its a long haul but the details of it make me feel like it's a good fit. Maybe not for now, because the other choices are awesome as well. Glad to at least see that Monster is a possibility!

Really cool to see Monster on the poll! I voted for Steins Gate as a safe choice, but would love to see Monster reaction later down the line. Btw Steins Gate is good in both sub and dub, and despite the first 8 or 9 episodes went a bit meh for me personally, it becomes a frigging awesome ride for the rest of the season!

Man Jujutsu Kaisen is only one season so far and Demon Slayer is only two. Just for next poll ideas. Both shows just have some of my favorite characters and honestly (although they are all different) they are the only two shows I can put as high as Attack on Titan.

I personally think Stiens Gate is perfect for LM. All the characters are likeable, their relationships matter, and the mystery is gripping. Honestly it's a knock out the park for them

Re:Zero would be a great fit, as it has a lot of mystery/lore, great character development and would generate some fantastic reactions. Out of these, I would say Steins Gate is the best bet, given the excellent story.

Code Geass has the issue of not having a morally strong character for LM to latch on too. LM need a "good character" to appreciate and protect. LeLouch is too much like Light from Death Note where the girls won't appreciate him.

These two won't appreciate Mob as much as you all do. They don't have the anime experience which makes makes Mob entertaining and funny. If you take in LM's personal taste, you would understand that they won't connect with the Mob cast. LM won't connect with Mob and they will despise his boss. They like characters that feel human. They don't need goofy fighting anime.

I was very surprised by how much i loved it and how character/human relationships-focused it is, on top of being an amazing sci-fi show about time travel as well. I'd love to see them react to it. LM STEINS GATE AND CODE GEISS HAVE THE STRONGER STORIES. MOB IS BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH BUT FOLLOWS THE FORMULATED STONGER AND STRONGER ENEMIES AND STRONGER AND STRONGER POWERS. If you like Naruto, One Piece and Bleach, go for Mob. If you like FMAB, Death Note or Eva, go Seins or Code. Mob is about powers, Stein and Geass are about story.

omg. I totally mistook mob psycho for Psycho Pass which is much better. mob psycho is more formulated. code geass then. meh. I can't watch another anime with continual increasing enemy fights where powers keep getting stronger and stronger. boring. omg. though Mob's powers are awesome. Lelouch's story is stronger.

Steins Gate would be the best pick but there might be a problem with copyrights for this show. Code Geass has a great story and characters but it also has a lot of unnecessary fan service in season 2. Mob Psycho is very entertaining, but the story is not that deep (in my opinion).

Code Geass is a lot like Death Note with a smart character trying to change the world they live in, but in Code Geass the main characters reasons are more understandable which makes it more interesting to watch, although I do think Death Note is a better show, Code Geass is definitely worth a watch!
